Upon entering this place I was looking around for quite some time and realized that no one was willing to help, not even a "hi, are you looking for anything in particular or how can I help you?" I was then approached by Joe Plahs who's a salesperson that works there. He only came when my buddy and I pulled the bike forward to have a better look at it. He was a bit pushy on selling the motorcycle to me. He was persistent on filing a credit application however many of you know it's not wise to do so before getting a better understanding of what price you're looking to pay, as well as what comes along with the purchase. The bike was on sale for $10,995 however after countless negotiations there wasn't much wiggle room. The total cost after all essential documentation and filing fees came out to roughly $12,200. We had negotiated that a helmet would be sold to us for invoice cost with a free battery tender as well as free delivery to my home. After running the credit application and getting approved for a low APR based off Tier 1 Credit, it was later confirmed that I won't be getting the bike for the agreed upon $12,000. I was already a little upset about the fact that they weren't budging much on the price however, I find it a bit ridiculous that in the beginning I had asked if the dealership owned the bike in which they concluded they do. However, why was I told that after all this when I was ready to take the bike home that they could not honor the price that was agreed upon? It seems very fishy since I feel as if I was duped on pricing when I already wasted time negotiating with them. I was adamant about purchasing the bike however when I started questioning about why they would say one thing in the beginning then change their mind when everything is about to be set and done, instead he tries justifying the fact that the bike was on consignment...but wait you just told me that the dealership owns the bike. This did not make any sense and clearly knowing my knowledge of how some dealerships are considered "stealer-ships" at times I knew something was not right. I told him that you should've known this information prior and that whatever profit you guys make should have that deduction in the amount that was negotiated off sticker value. When he heard that, he just walks away...listen if you're not fit to sell and hear people out then I honestly don't think you should be working at a dealership. I'm spending my hard earned money on this so that way I can acquire what I want as well as making them some commission. I went up to the guy and he told my buddy that I should calm down and I straight up told him that I don't like being promised one thing then something else occurs. He replies "okay" and I told him that I'll continue on with the sale. At this point I was also concerned about the fact that he would go back on his word about free delivery and the other items included with the sale...so what I told him to do is to write everything down on the sales form saying that it's so. Instead of agreeing he feels that its okay to say "I am done, the bike's not for sale anymore." I asked him if he's serious and he storms off to the backroom. This is highly unprofessional of a person to do. Do you really want this to be the image you have on others? Dude are you a child or a person trying to unload inventory? After that I waited around 10 minutes to speak to someone else who could complete the sale on the behalf of said salesman. Am I wrong to ask for all the extras that I had been promised to be written on the sales form? I believe not, however if someone is opposed to this then please let me know. I caused no headache for this person and was merely trying to purchase a motorcycle. I asked the other salesman why he's acting this way and he replies that the owner of the bike was arguing with him over the phone...wait, does that make it okay for him to blow up on me!? There's no logic behind this, I certainly don't go to the work to yell at potential customers because someone just...

Here's my story. I am a 48 year old first time rider, who has been driving and buying cars for over 30 years, I have enough experience to know a "slimey salesperson" from a honest trustworthy salesperson, this place is the real deal !
They truly are here to make you happy with NO PRESSURE at all and on top of that they were patient, knowledgable and friendly.
I had shopped around for the bike I was looking for and did my due diligence, I finally called CrossBay and spoke to Mike C., after hearing from many that this was the only place to buy my bike from. Mike C. took the time on the phone to discuss numbers and didn't brush me off the way several other dealers did on the phone. I went down the next day, met Mike, and the awesome numbers he gave me on the phone were exactly what I bought my bike for. There were no games, no bait and switch bs and he spent at least 90 mins talking with me before I even signed the contract to buy.
I was torn between 2 different bikes, both same in cost. Mike didn't push me one way or another between the 2 bikes and told me to decide what seems to work best for me. I picked my bike.
He really did care about making me happy and at the same time made sure as a first time rider I was getting the appropriate bike for my experience and didn't for a second try to "up-sell " me at all. He did what I like to say, " let me buy and didn't try to sell me," again no pushy sales tactics whatsoever!!
After we got to the numbers, I met Sal, the owner of the business. Sal was a gentleman and gave me a few extras perks as a way of saying thank you for your business (a beautiful modular helmut).
I went home and that night I realized I wanted to switch my order to the 2nd of my 2 choices of bikes. I was a bit concerned that I would not be able to switch, I called first thing Monday a.m. Got Mike on the phone, explained what happened and that I wanted to switch, he assured me it shouldn't be an issue, went to speak to Sal and called me 5 minutes later saying it would be no problem to switch bikes. These guys ROCK !!!
Lastly, on delivery I met with Jerry, the finance manager and again another pleasurable experience, he took his time to go over the contract and there was no hidden fees or any up selling that you often find with other dealerships.
Working with Mike C., Sal and Jerry was one of the easiest transactions I've had in many many years.
Thanks Guys for a great sales experience and and my new bike. For sure you have my business for years to come.
Kindly, Hal F.

This is THE ONLY PLACE TO BUY YOUR BIKE !!! In July I purchased a Yamaha VStar 650 brand-new bike it was my first bike and I was hesitant about purchasing something bigger. I dealt with Mike C. and Sal. They were amazing to deal with and made my transaction smooth, simple and easy !! Besides giving everything as promised they also ga e me a very huge discount off of the suggested retail price. After riding my 650 for a month I realized I should've bought a bigger bike so I called and spoke to Mike C. They ended up buying back my original bike for full price with 550 miles on it and I am now a proud owner of a Yamaha VStar 950.
These guys are amazing and they will work with you to make you as happy as you can be !!! Again, this is the only place to buy a bike from And I will continue to do business with these guys for as long as I am riding. Thank you Mike C and Sal, you guys rock!! Hal F-...
Read moreAm very non-plussed with this place. This review is about the repair shop, and ownership. Very little experience with the sales dept. Every time I've walked through I've been ignored, so no real comment beyond that.
One- They have a repair guy who isn't great with honesty. I've called with an issue, and had the guy set me up with an appointment. The guy said that the job should only take a couple hours. But then when I go in on the appointment day & time, another guy says, of course, that they don't do appointments. And they can take my bike, but it will be several days before the job is done.
So it's hard to have faith about what I'm going to get when I go in. As far as I can tell the repairs have been done fine, but I'm no mechanic. But no after issues with the repairs itself. Other than the following paragraph. Prices for things I've had done have seemed fair.
However, once I went in with a recall repair of the speedometer, or some dashboard piece. My bike came back fixed, but there was a scratch on the dashboard cover. The plastic cover that protects the speedometer, odometer, etc. The scratch was on the underside of the cover. No way to damage that area unless you were working with something like the speedometer.
I email the shop and a person, who I assume to be the owner, replies. He's good at first, takes responsibility for replacing the cover. But he tells me it's back ordered. So over the next several months I periodically check in and each time, either it's still back ordered, or sometimes he just doesn't respond at all.
So I call a different shop, another dealer, and guess what? They can get the part. It's in stock and has been in stock. So I'm being fed a line. Unfortunately, I had a family member fall sick and I had to travel out of town for a while to take care of that. So I wasn't able to keep following up with the shop to get this done. I've called a couple shops both before my family emergency and after. Different shops. Always in stock. Never back ordered.
At any rate, for all my repairs now I go to a different shop. Slightly further away but not too bad. And a much better experience.
tl/dr - The actual repair work is fine, but both some employees and the owner suffer from a lack of honestly, integrity and accountability. In my...
