Chill store with a feel-good atmosphere. You'll have a nice time skimming the inventory to find something for yourself. It's a narrow space that uses every inch to sell records. Crates and boxes of records are labeled with genre and dividers. Some CDs and cassettes in the front too. Easy to see price stickers, between $2-$40. There were records displayed on the walls and in a few boxes labeled as rare that cost more, $100+. Easy to find parking in the area, free or metered. It's a short walk to a variety of shops and restaurants too. April 12th is Record Store Day too!

It was awesome walking into my 1st record store after beginning my turntable journey. Organization was on point and a huge selection. Nabbed a Daft Punk vinyl. Looking forward to shopping there again. Came from South Carolina for a quick family visit and saw it was close by.

Deep Cuts is one of my favorite things about Ridgewood. Half my collection came from this gem of a record store! Certainly worth a visit for new releases and the best of ~everything else~ Lots of deals and expanding selection of tapes!

Definitely give Deep Cuts a look, lots of cool stuff and since I judge spots on the comfortable feeling of the people running the show, and my just in the mid 60s and having worked in retail (Corp & Indy) for over 40 years, can feel the love for what's there, and the purpose of its existence... Sharing the viscerally wonderful physical ownership of media, be it, 45's and LP's (record albums, "vinyl... heh, please with that"), cassettes, VHS tapes, CDs, DVD's, Aaarrrggghhh!!! Books, Yeah, Damned Right!!! I'm pure NYC, Brooklyn Born, Queens raised (yes, pun intended, thanks Mothers!), with most of that retail experience at bookstores, this is the place, Deep Cuts, shout outs for Night Owl Video, Comics culture also physical media and a amazing collection and deep dive place!!! Check them out!!! This is what working class, really NYC blood bone " built this city, is all about!!! Worth it!!! Hey! I went again today with glee and great results, definitely was an oasis regardless of the weather, the trip not so bad but still worth it!!! Nice to feel welcomed by the spot and not like Royal Collectibles Sports (2 * for content, other than that, much higher for Royal Comics), unless you're desperate for needed collection supplies and you're that way, mind you... Anyways, nice place Deep Cuts, hope you will...

Listen, if you have to read google reviews to see whether or not it's worth going to a record store, or if you think record store day is some sort of special day where record sellers owe it to you to carry certain things, then maybe don't go here. But, if you love finding surprising gems at great prices or if you love browsing diverse and extensive bins including killer bargain selections the way us old heads do - hell, if you actually are a music fan and vinyl enthusiast who relishes exploration and discovery - then Deep Cuts is the spot. They carry tapes, VHS, and other amazing ephemera as well. This place really lives up to its name, so if you're all about the hottest newest hypiest anything, it's probably best you go buy an NFT...

Recently bought a new turntable and got back into vinyl, so after reading the great reviews of this place on line, I figured I'd check it out. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once inside what I discovered was a treasure trove of amazing vinyl records, both used and new, along with a turntable and headphones so that you can listen to and check out the quality of what you are purchasing. I picked up two albums used albums in VG condition ( Loggins and Messina's "Sit-in In", one of my all time favorites, along with Bob Segar's "Night Moves LP). I intend to visit Depp Cuts again soon. The friendly helpful staff is...
