Do Good Spirits — Attraction in New York

THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE! From the second I messaged them on Instagram with a question, to the end of the visit, this is truly an incredible place. Very few distilleries have included, not only a guide who has such a vast knowledge AND passion for their spirits, but the spirits themselves truly show the hard work, dedication, and attention to detail they put into every bottle. I can't believe how much we learned, and the EXCELLENT quality of EVERY spirit! This was the first time my husband rated every single one 5 stars. One thing about vodka...not many people can make something so SEEMINGLY simple, something worth really paying attention to, and yet before we even walked in, a couple that was walking out said to us "GET THE VODKA!" They were absolutely right, and we came out with a box filled with aged gin, vodka, and more...but only one box of course, because according to the credit card companies, limits are necessary.

I was so impressed with the kindness and excellent customer service. It was our first time there, but they made us feel so welcome. Every part of our experience was truly exceptional, and we cant wait...

We had went a few months prior for a tasting and everyone was wonderful and friendly. We stopped by a second time to pick up a bottle for ourselves and the owner himself was not wearing a mask and talking to people who were also unmasked. He proceeded to ask us to put a mask on and we thought he was joking, and he said he did not have one on him and that it is in his office, meanwhile there was a box of masks ready to be worn at the cash register. The cashier proceeded to apologize for the owner (Keith’s) “abrasive” behavior. I found the hypocrisy slightly unsettling.

Four stars for the staff and...

Very upset with my last visit. Brought a bunch of family from out of town, bought a bunch of stuff, and was totally met with a rude, unfriendly, indifferent attitude from the dude working there. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what but I’ve been coming here for years, live in the area, always bringing people here, expected some attention/samples but this just totally ruined my experience as well as the people I was with.
