Material Index is the EXACT HALFWAY point between Syracuse and NYC. It made it the absolute perfect stop for a cup of coffee and to get gas, which was also conveniently down the street. All that being said, the coffee was so good that I would be tempted to take the two hour trip just for the coffee itself.
