DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse — Attraction in New York

The employee I encountered was rude and disrespectful! If I didn't need the shoes for a next day event, I would have walked out! There was the cashier from hell! She was face timing with someone while serving customers. If you asked her ANYTHING she was bothered and gave snippy answers. While serving me, another employee walked over to give her keys and said she was now the manager (probably for his lunch break). BOTH them had a whole conversation without excusing themselves or acknowledging i was still waiting! JOKING and POKING FUN with each other while I am trying to check out one pair of shoes. The female then went back to her Face Time!!! In disgust I was looking for someone else to check me out. Two employees at end of cashier line ignored me trying to get their attention. Oh, my cashier decided to focus on serving me with and ATTITUDE! The shoes I had were scuffed and I asked if there were more in the back. She said, "no, you can order them and they will get here in a few days." I said that wouldn't work because I needed them fur next day. I then asked if something can be taken off price to compensate for damage. She ROLLED HER EYES back to her Face Time person as if I was bothering her. She then said, "do you want them or not?!" Never have I ever experienced such bad customer service. I called DSW in Port Chester after receiving a pair of shoes that I ordered on line that were too small. They were very helpful, kind and courteous but did not have my size. So I then proceeded to call Co op city, the lady picked up I asked her if she can help me with a item I needed a bigger size. she asked me for the UPC code which I did not have.I then told her I only have an item number and name of the shoe ( which port chester had no problem finding) since I received it through the mail. She then told me "like I said I need the UPC code". I then explained to her i just spoke to someone in the same company in Port chester and did not have a problem finding it. I asked her if I can please have her name she said no you cant and hung up. I called back to speak with a manager and they would not give me her name. Needless to say i will no longer do business with DSW i am not the type to write reviews but both Employee and manager need a training course on customer service. Horrible experience and all i wanted to do was get a different size. Now i will return my item and never shop there again. Such a shame no one should experience such a bad customer service. PMN&Co. This is the time I really wish there was something as a minus star because that’s exactly what this store deserves. As I was in the men’s department shopping, I felt the urge to use the rest room, so I approach a make Indian employee who was talking with what I believe to be a female employee at the restroom door. He told me that there were no public restrooms. I asked for a supervisor as I was in dire need. At first he refused , then he told me the Suoervisor’s name was Jason downstairs. As I barely made it downstairs and saw that he was on the phone , I immediately went to one of the cashiers who told me that all the restrooms were out of order. Suddenly my money was out of order for that store. And I will never shop there again. I believe that the basic necessity for your customers should be readily available. I do understand that there are some customers who don’t know how to take the initiative to clean up after themselves but that’s what you guys are getting paid for, maintain it so that your customers can continue to do business with...
