I went shopping on Labor Day and had a very disappointing experience due to the conduct of one of the two sales associates. Unfortunately, I was unable to get their names, and they were unwilling to share them—likely to avoid accountability. For identification purposes only: one was a young, African American pregnant woman who appeared to be a manager or assistant manager( she was a sweet heart and actually told us they didn’t have the shoe in my daughters size) and the other was a Hispanic woman with red hair and glasses. The red-haired associate was extremely inattentive, dismissive, and at one point, outright disrespectful. While we were helping our daughter try on shoes, she threw a shoe in our direction (the one that “they didn’t have in her size”. It was done carelessly and could have hit us. This was completely inappropriate and unnecessary, especially since it was clear the shoes were intended for us. Her attitude throughout the interaction was unprofessional and unwelcoming. It’s disappointing to experience this kind of treatment, especially in a retail environment where customers should feel respected and valued.
