Dragon City — Restaurant in New York

2 1/2 stars. We order a variety of food from here when I visit family in the area and the last 2 times was ok, rice was undercooked but I steamed it, thought is was a mishap. Today ordered C4 combination (spare ribs, fried rice, egg roll), vegetable lo mein and szechuan shrimp w/white rice...all of the food lack flavor and heat. Chinese food is normally flavorful, Bbq spare ribs generally have a hint unique sweetness, these were bland. The lo mein was bland, the rice tasted slightly undercooked, it may be because they use short grain rice.

The food lacked key ingredients, Oyster sauce, Chinese cooking wine.

Much like all of the food industries, go up in price and down is product size and/or flavoring.

Beware of this restaurant! They add an additional surcharge for delivery but they don’t tell the customer! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, but the restaurant refused to respond!

A couple of years ago, I reported them to the BBB and another agency because I noticed while waiting for a take out order, the register amount was hidden by a stack of menus and they rounded UP the customer’s amount due! For example, if my order came to $14.32, they would charge the customer $14.35. I began requesting a receipt when I ordered and the overcharge stopped for my orders! I believe they were visited as a result of the complaint because a few weeks later, the stack of menus was gone and customers were able to see the actual amount...

I Don't know if I was eating chicken or something else but I couldn't eat the chicken mixed vegetables with pork fried rice but that chicken was like eating "Cane bagasse" lol Dragon City is near me but their food is very inconsistent and another thing is the lack of customer service/unprofessional, I call and before I finish to talk they hang-up the phone. I remember the day that was raining I called because instead of the Shrimp (Not fresh sometimes) with mixed vegetables they sent me of the mixed vegetables without Shrimp and the guy who picked up the phone said " No delivery" and hang-up the phone after that I honestly had enough of being treated poorly when we are the one who paid their house, cars,...
