Japanese Grill and Sushi Restaurant location 149 Street 3rd Avenue Bronx New York
This place was opened less than 7 months ago. The owners of this restaurant are Japanese. The owners were nice to customers when the restaurant was newly opened. This restaurant has seating areas with tables and chairs for customers to eat in. The people who worked at this restaurant location are predominantly Mexican Descent. They deliberately closed the bathroom down and denied access to costumers who need to use their bathroom. I asked the Mexican person who introduced himself to me as the restaurant manager why are customers denied access to use their restroom, he lied to me that the restroom is out of order. I explained to him that l was at this restaurant Less than two days ago and the bathroom works perfectly. He said he doesn’t care about how I feel about customers being denied access to use the restroom. I was very shocked that the Mexican male manager at this restaurant location actually disrespected me openly when l asked him why was the restroom closed off and why are customers being denied access to use their restroom. Then I said to him that I will report this situation to the owner of this restaurant, the Mexican male manager replied to me was “go ahead “ meaning he...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a spot that delivers both fresh sushi and sizzling hot teriyaki, Teppanyaki One Teriyaki & Sushi is a must-try. From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a great dining experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to offer recommendations—whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or more of a teriyaki fan.
The sushi is made to order with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the presentation is just as impressive as the flavor. Rolls like the spicy tuna and rainbow roll burst with freshness, while the tempura shrimp roll adds a perfect crunch. On the teppanyaki side, the chicken and beef teriyaki plates are cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and served with just the right amount of savory-sweet sauce.
Portion sizes are generous, so you’ll definitely leave full and satisfied. The miso soup and salad that come with most meals are also fresh and flavorful, making for a balanced, complete meal. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and take-out orders are prepared quickly without sacrificing taste.
Overall, Teppanyaki One is the perfect spot for a casual lunch, dinner with friends, or a sushi fix you can count...
Read moreThis location is very attractive and has a pleasant staff. The food was so-so. I ordered the chicken bento box with fried rice. The food tasted very fresh and had plenty of flavor, albeit somewhat salty. The spring rolls were nice and crispy, while the pot stickers had a good balance of softness and crunch. I wish a dipping sauce had been available for the pot stickers though. Although I liked the food, I'm not sure if it would be my go-to place. I thought I was going to experience something that I never had before, but that wasn't the case. The flavors were good, but replicable. I don't spend money on anything I think I can make at home. Maybe I would return for...
