Dirty, disgusting. The only upgrade it got was a new basketball court. Nothing was done for the kids playground. "Garden" areas are overgrown, and home to an insane amount of rats. You see the holes to their nests everywhere, and they run around the park both day and night. Attempted to take my kid here last weekend, after staying away for awhile. It was overcrowded, mostly adult men. Homeless men hanging out and sleeping in the kids area, people flying through the playground on their mopeds almost running toddlers over. Last summer had drunk men walking around talking to the kids, freaked my kid out. Took my son to play catch in the handball court since it was the only empty area. Broken beer bottles and puke all over. When you have a child, and live in the city a park is really important to have. This park needs a whole makeover and to hire people to not only clean up but regulate some rules to ensure the kids are safe. Fix it or demolish it, because someone is gonna end up really...
