I used to go here when I was of age. The coaches were nice and experienced. Great golf range to practice, putting greens and Pitch & Put golf course. I really recommend anyone considering sending their children here for golf to do so. I would ride my bike there, lock it up securely and go inside and learn how to play golf. I felt safe in the facility. We would start off with a brief classroom lesson. Then we would go out of the building and get divided up into groups based off of age and size, so everything is balanced. (At least that was how it was when I went a few years ago). So if you are a younger child, you would be separate from the teenagers and with your age group. In most sessions you are given the opportunity of using the Driving Range and Putting Greens mainly. They do bring you out to the Pitch & Putt course as well. It was a really enjoyable and fun learning experience for me. All the teachers are experienced golfers. Just beware if you are a parent, that they do not allow you to stick with the groups on the course or the range. It is like going to school where you drop your child off to learn in a classroom. You can not stick with your child in the sessions for the most part. Just as how you would not stick your child in school. But in this case, with learning Golf outside and etc. It an independent experience and a tangible one for your child to learn a fantastic sport. Like going to school but more fun! You don't even need to own golf clubs, they provided everything. I highly recommend that you sign up your child here soon before...
Read moreThis is one of the best free children's programs in the city. The instructors are courteous and professional. You get the feeling they truly want the children to love and excel at the game.. They make it enjoyable for the children. The best part is the parents relax on a beautiful outdoor patio while watching their children play. There's no parking for families, but usually there's enough street parking. There's easy bus access right in front, but the D train on 18th Ave, while pleasant, is a hike. Update- the new program for 2022 will have the children grouped by age instead of skills. Then they'll divide kids of similar age into their skill group. Update -Google wants me to update, Well there's no updates. Still a...
Read moreThe program could have been great I guess but they cancelled almost every class in a five week program. Once for the heat once for the rain and again for a tournament so we didn't really get to experience the full course. The people seemed really really nice and patient with the kids so I hope I can get in for the spring. It stinks to have a...
