It is open 24/7 and the place is very safe for all who visit any time. It is close to the Belt Parkway and the long bike and walk trail by the water from the foot of Bay Parkway to 69th Sreet. You can roller blade; ride your bike or walk all the way and see the Varazanno Bridge along the walk. Good place to have a picnic or just sit and watch the ships coming into New York Harbor. Wendys is a good place to get some food and use thr rest room before you start your walk. There are rest rooms at the end of the walk at 69th Street. Not sure along the walk as there is construction on an overpass bridge about half way. You will pass under the Varazanno Bridge where you can walk up the short hill to 4th Avenue where there are restaurants to eat at. I have riden my bike hundreds of times along the path and love it. Hope to see you there. I am 81 years young and ride my pink bike. Enjoy! Flo from...
