Emerald Playground — Attraction in New York

Emerald Playground is one of those playgrounds that newcomers to the area have to really look for because it is secluded around back of a school building. It was refurbished some years ago, with a small passive park on the street side lower level, and the playground up top, more in back of the school. This is one park that is going to need another influx of maintenance and repairs in the near future. The passive park has benches that are worn, and an uneven walking path, simply a some fifty foot rectangle in need of resurfacing, and in the playground area itself, the equipment is definitely starting to show signs of wear and tear, and a need of sprucing up.
