My friend & I spent over $35 there, only for me to get home to start eating & realize that there was hair in my food. I called the store to get them to exchange the food seeing as though I do not drive & the young lady who was also the cashier proceeded to bombard me telling me that her chef doesn’t have hair so it would be impossible for me to have gotten hair in my food. I also heared everyone arguing in whatever language they speak in the background about my order. I was told that I needed to come back in to the store to show them proof even though they were going to be delivering dumplings that was missing from another order that my friend made, which didn’t make sense to me. I made my way to the store, showed them the food to which they then turned on their flashlights on their phones pretending that they didn’t see the hair. Once I showed them these pictures the guy “chef” got up to remake my order to which I told them that I didn’t even want the order at this point I just want a refund. She got on the phone with her manager who I’m guessing was also the delivery man because she said that I had to wait for him to come back to get the refund because she doesn’t know how to do it. After a little more back & forth of me telling her that I did my part by bringing back the food & that I partially paid cash so she should at least be able to give me that back so I can go on my way. . . She changed her tone & reached into the register to give my refund & said “I’m sorry for the hair”
My problem was not the fact that there was hair in my food, the problem was the customer service aspect & how the young lady handled me on the phone & tried to argue with me about my order as if I was lying or something then when I asked for a refund she decided to calm down & try to be “nice”. Customers are always right & even if YOU feel like they aren’t that is no way...
Read more3.5 stars. We were craving an AYCE and saw that they were offering it for only $20.99 per person (dinner, Monday-Thursday) so we decided to try this place. The restaurant was empty when we went on a Tuesday evening and we were seated right away.
Strangely enough, the menu offers both Thai and Japanese food for the AYCE option. You place your order via the paper menu. The food is served quickly and in no time, we had all of the items we marked off on the paper menu. We ordered various sushi rolls, gyoza, edamame, kani salad, fried dumplings, popcorn shrimp, miso soup and chicken pad Thai.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portions were kind of large for AYCE. The edamame and kani salad could be easily shared by a couple of people. And the pad Thai looked like a regular serving and not part of the AYCE menu. The popcorn shrimp was quite good. Shrimps were pretty large and cooked perfectly. The sushi was tasty although not the best quality. They charge $5 extra for sashimi and they don’t give out any free scoop of ice cream like some other AYCE restaurants. Other than that, we definitely got our moneys worth with the AYCE and we were stuffed by the end...
Read moreThe Food is expensive for how little it is. The delivery guy makes fun of you for mistakenly put up a auto generated apple address that's 1 digit off even though the zip code was provided and everything on the map is on the same address. Whoever made the food doesn't care about you. The fish have bones in it and hair too. Usually I do not write a bad review, but today I've decided to write a bad review. I do not have a good experience here and I used to like to eat here. The delivery is 13 minute late, I get that my order isn't the top priority but why did that delivery guy come up to me and make fun of me for small mistake? Anyway I dislike this experience so much that I most likely would not order from here anymore. Customer beware of the delivery guy. I would say order it only from here when is...
