Halal Munchies — Restaurant in New York

I just found this place this week and have been there 2 times already. Their food is DELICIOUS and honestly addicting. I feel like the food I've had everywhere else is over processed and just so bland. This place has super tasty flavorful food. Literally everything has flavor. I would recommend their philly cheesesteak. The best philly cheesesteak I've ever had and my boyfriend agrees! We loved it so much we were bragging about it to his sister so she ran to go buy one the same night! She texted me saying it was the best sandwich she had ever tasted. Seriously go try their philly cheesesteak. My boyfriend said that we have to go once a week for that sandwich lol. The workers are also so friendly and kept checking up on us to see how we liked the food. Customer service is great. The prices are also GREAT for the quality of the food. My boyfriend and I only paid $14 for the both of us combined!! Usually it costs us like $40-$50 when we go to grab lunch or dinner somewhere and we usually arent too satisfied with our food. Fake Lamb / Worst Gyro of My ENTIRE Life!

I ordered via Doordash. I don't think they're serving real lamb here. I've never tasted a lamb gyro this bland. I'm convinced they served me fake meat. Lamb is always flavorful but my gyro was not. And the meat was in a weird shape and texture. It was like ground meat but not quite. There was something off about the taste. It was not good.

I've had gyros with the pre-cut strips of lamb that were more flavorful than those. And those strips are probably processed as well. But THIS? This was terrible. I've been eating gyros since childhood and this wasn't even close to average.

I do not recommend this place if you want to eat REAL, delicious lamb meat. I've gotten better from Halal vendors on the street. In fact, let me not compare them because I've never been let down by a street vendor like I have by this restaurant.

Good food, bad service.

Last week I did an Uber Eats order, the restaurant put the wrong orders in the bag. Half the order (drinks and side orders) was right, but I got burgers instead of mixed combos. Being as the rest of the order was correct this was clearly the restaurant's mistake, and Uber wouldn't return to deliver the right order so I had to go pick up the food myself even though they have their own delivery drivers and could have fixed it.

I placed another order today with Seamless instead hoping they would get it right. I've been waiting an hour and a half for my food and it's not here. I just called to check how much longer it would be and they said it's on the way without even asking for my name, address, number, or any details to figure out which order I was calling about.

I won't be ordered from here again. Their food is good but it's not worth all the problems with their delivery...
