Plenty of activities to do ranging from sports to dog parks to jogging, cycling, walking on a long board, enjoying the view of Manhattan from the distance. Large soccer field with plenty of benches, and public restrooms available near the field. Plenty of food and beverages surrounding the area whether it be in the park itself or the nearby neighborhood. The positioning of the park is very close to Long Island City. The words are showcased on a large board right behind the long board. Water activities on the water itself available. From going on cruise ships to private speed boats, there is plenty of variety for all ages. A wide voluminous amount of culture of people found as well, from Asian to Hindu to American to Hispanic to Black, New York has it all. Great place to easily make new friends. Dogs included! There is a dog park for your pets to play at right next to the playground. The playgrounds included are one for children and another for adults right next to it.
