I visitedJ salon today and couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by this nice lady, and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxing.

The stylist named Jay took the time to really understand what I was looking for. He asked me how I want my hair cut and did just that. The attention to detail and skill were evident in every step of the process, from the beginning to the final styling. Jay is very artistic with the way he view and cut my hair. I am very please with the haircut. Thank you, Jay!!

After I read the online reviews about this Salon and the owner, I called them to make an appointment with them to do the hair straightening treatment by the owner. However, when I got there earlier at 9 am, one man spoke with me with such strong and terrible attitudes besides raising the price by 20 dollars. Worse than this, I asked him if the owner was here so I would like him to cut my hair. He didn’t introduce himself nor answered my questions. He was very rude and charged other treatment way too high so I left that Salon quickly! I will never go back this place again and will not recommend...

Went here since there was no wait as opposed to some other salons in 8th Ave. But that is for a reason! Had the worst hair cut here… first, they dyed my cardigan with the color treatment… then proceeded to cut my bangs SO choppy. Even with a picture reference. They clearly have no experience cutting bangs or blending out bangs…. Quite literally was my worst hair experience ever. I do not recommend this place and will never go back. I do not think they know how to cut women’s hair until you are looking for a thinned out, choppy bangs look...
