Mango Mango Dessert - Sunset Park — Restaurant in New York

I’ve been here many times since I live nearby. I often order the same things; green tea crepe and peach mochi. I really enjoy their green tea crepe but that might just be a me thing since I’ve always liked it regardless from what cafe. At first, I didn’t like the peach mochi. I had finish one and I couldn’t finish the other, I gave it to my boyfriend and he didn’t seem to like it either. However I came back another time and ordered it again since I wanted to give it another shot. It was pretty good the second time, it’s definitely one you have to get use to. I usually would come here with friends so we would buy their sundaes and holy I loved it. I’ve tried all of their sundaes but my favorite had to be the strawberry one. One of my friend had also brought the tiramisu, it looked so good that I had to try it. When I tried it, I immediately wanted to take another bite lol. It was my first time eating it. The place is really clean and aesthetic. They have a bathroom so if you need to do your thing, you can. On the shelf’s, I had notice some figures. I think it made the place super cute. We ordered the sesame soup with mochi (sesame rice ball), brown sugar boba cream puff, and sesame coconut cake via Uber Eats and unfortunately there were more misses than hits.

The sesame soup was very clumpy and turned super watery after maybe 10 minutes. The mochi was ok, filling was not too sweet, flavorful and the ‘skin’ or wrapper was thin but the soup was disappointing!

Brown sugar boba cream puff was unexpectedly good! Great brown sugar flavor and the puff and cream tasted fresh, but be aware that the boba in the puff is not your usual boba, instead of chewy it’s crunchy (the same texture as white boba some boba tea places offer). I didn’t mind it but my husband didn’t like it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sesame coconut cake was OK. It didn’t have a lot of sesame or coconut flavor but there was shredded coconut in it. The coconut layer was frozen while the cake and sesame cream layers were not. Not sure if that was done on purpose but if it was the frozen layer did not add anything to the overall taste.

We also got the brown sugar boba ice cream and mango pomelo ice cream but were too full after eating all those desserts! Definitely looking forward to...

Does this place has services at all? The waitress don't seem to care about the customers and she did not even stop by and ask if we need anything else. Service was terrible. Why should I tip them then? Lol

I got the combo B which shows in the attached pictures. The mangos were not refreshed at all. Not sure if it's not the right season for it. The mango ice cream tasted terrible just like it was made with mango flavor powder. I've tried tons of mango ice cream before but nothing was like this. My friend and I couldn't finish what we got. I didn't get any drinks, But after experiencing the mango related stuff, I don't think I would want to order anything else from this place.

Idk why this place has some good ratings but this place has no quality food and services at all. Maybe the reviews came from bunch of innocent kids whom never tried real food. Anyway, Why would I go...
