Jack Kaiser Stadium, formerly The Ballpark At St Johns, is named after Jack Kaiser, a star baseball player and long time coach for St Johns, who as a player, took St Johns to the 1949 College World Series, and as Coach, brought them to the College World Series three times more, in 1960, 1966, and 1968. Jack Kaiser Stadium is among the best college baseball venues in the New York Metropolitan area. It seats around 3500 fans, and serves as the home venue for St Johns Red Storm baseball. In the summer of 2000, it also hosted Minor League Baseball as the home of the Queens Kings of the New York-Penn League, Short Season A Ball affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. The field, formerly grass, is now Field Turf, which is a big saver when it comes to post rainstorm field maintenance, preventing a number of would be postponements. The sightlines are quite good, and the sound system excellent. The press box is named after Professor Bob Sheppard, legendary PA Announcer for the New York Yankees and the NFL New York Giants. This ballpark is one tremendous experience, and an enjoyable...

Wonderful ballpark and always lots of open seating. If you like college baseball come watch a game here. It is a lot of fun to hang out and enjoy the afternoon.
