One Banquet Hall — Attraction in New York

I never write reviews, but this was necessary...First let me say, I am very particular about what entrances and what bathrooms look like before I even want to know anything else about a location and I was definitely very pleased. Ambiance is a factor when having an event, and this place has that. I had the pleasure of hosting my best friends baby shower at One Banquet Hall and what an amazing experience it was.Everyone loved it! Winnie was so accommodating from the first phone call to view the location and options they had to offer. She had consistent communication and called and text a few days before the event to verify the details one last time. When I arrived to set up ,everything they said they were gonna do was already done and more, and even assisted me in setting up my decorations.Throughout the event the entire staff was accommodating and they did not miss a beat. I was so busy hosting and socializing they were on top of the other task that needed to be done.

My event details: I only reserved half of the catering hall ,which very spaciously sat 80 people(could easily seat more), baby blue and white backdrop with twinkling lights(provided by hall and looked beautiful) ,12' buffet table(provided), cash bar(provided and have different bar options), inflatable photo booth(about 9'x9'), mom and dad to be loveseat ,cake table(provided) , book table(provided) ,favor table (provided)and we still had ample room to play baby shower games.We did not have a DJ but their system easily connected to my IPAD via bluetooth ant there were no issues .They also have a coat room in the entrance but we did not use it.They even allowed us to extend our event as it was going on(for a fee of course).Most catering halls will not allow you to do that; you must stay within the time frame stated in your contract.

By the end of the baby shower , I was exhausted but the results were amazing. The waitstaff and bartender were so much help. So glad to know the Fresh Meadows/Flushing/Jamaica Estates area now has an amazing Catering hall. If you are looking for a great location to have any type of event, please take a look at this location first. One Banquet Hall did a fantastic job with my husband's 50th bday party in April 2024. The location was prefect regarding the neighborhood & parking. The hall was clean including the bathrooms. The food from the day of taste testing to the day of event did NOT disappoint. The decor was beautiful, staff service was accondating, exceptional, friendly, & polite. The manager/owner Dhanny, was professional and kind. The 6 months build up relationship that was developed from day 1 to the date of event, far execeeded my expectations, especially since I lived out of State, which lessen my stress. Although, there were a few hallenges: The fluctuating guest count with a guaranteed 2 weeks ahead resulted in an event exceeding the initial budget. If the guarantee count deadline was flexible to at least 3 days prior to the event, I would have been more satisfied instead of paying for empty seats. There is no availability/accommodation for guests to take home the delicious food. I hate to see paid food wasted. It was difficult to hire affordable vendors that were unable to provide a copy of insurance as required in the contract, i.e. affordable ballon vendors The time alloted for setup was cutting too close to event start time. Nonetheless, it was a great event with beautiful pictures & lasting memories. So many thanks to One Banquet Hall who made it...

I am still recovering from the wonderful party Saturday night. It was so special. First let me tell you that you and your staff did an amazing job!!! I felt so loved. From the time I arrived you and your staff were so helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Laura (my grandmother’s name) and the other young lady who assisted my sister and I in our centerpieces / arts and crafts project. I have had MANY people comment on how nice your staff was. Please continue to encourage such wonderful people, they are crucial to your continued success. My mother also was extremely happy with the way she was treated. The food was very good; I especially liked the Jerk Chicken, I thought it was perfect for a crowd, spicy but not too hot (I do like it hot though). I had other favorable comments on the food too. I also had comments on the bar staff and how efficient and friendly they were too. Everyone loved the venue, although I am sure that you were aware because everyone wanted more information about it. I pray you get a couple of events from this one. Thus far, I have not had one negative comment, they were even happy with restrooms. I hope that I have an event where I can use your venue again. It was nicer and more carefree than I could have imagined. Thank you...
