Jackson Pond Playground — Attraction in New York

Wonderful "destination" playground. By that I mean it's not just your average neighborhood playground but one that a New Yorker (with kids) can seek out as a city excursion. It's rather huge and there are different areas for big kids and toddlers alike. Equipment is in good condition and there are public bathrooms. You can park right along Myrtle Avenue for free. Of course bringing a lunch is key and Forest Park's nature trails are right nearby as well. You can add this place to the fun...

The kids love this area. The outdoor gym is big and well maintained. The rubber floor is good for kids to fall on. A lot of seating areas for parents and tables to bring snacks. Gets busy afterschool with the bigger kids, but early afternoon, it is quiet for the younger ones. It also has a large flat area for skating and sprinklers...

Great playground very safely fence there may be the traffic quite busy , kids enjoyed bucket swings, playground equipment system there got the climbing,overhead,slider no spider web string, no merry go round,got nice sprinkler awesome...
