No 1 there were " 1" register open and the lines were so long, it passed the last aisle, and we was standing at least 19 min and it took the manager 39 min to open a second register. Then I finally came to the register, the container I bought, the lid didnt fit, so the associate said he can refund the money or get another container. We had to get off line so the associate can find the same one but to no avail because " None" of the lids had fit. We got another container with a lid and went up front. The line was " Still" long , so we ask why we have to get back on this line, when we just got off the line? The manager stated it wouldnt be fair for those who are waiting on line already and "Wasn't GOING TO DO IT? WTH? This is where the 'Manager" courtesy skills should have kicked in. We got back in that long line again , got to the register and they had to "Call' him to do the exchange ! Thats all he had to do in the first place which took less than 5 mins and he would not have had to " Come "Back" up front . Being that we were " visiting but borned and raised in Spanish Harlem and also " Managers" ourselves, he has a lot to learn in being a " Manager" and learn "What" customer "...

They don't know their stock & instead of saying, Let me check, they say ask him, meaning the cashier. But you have to wait on a long line forever. Manager is hiding in the office. Instead of jumping on the other register to help with the line. Something was in the wrong spot & they acted like i put it there. Plus didn't even wanna do a return for me, for something that I was overcharged on. No apology or nothing. They said they don't do refunds. Which is a lie. The young lady said you get a store credit. She didn't know how to do a return. Then took forever & wanted to give me less than what I paid for on my receipt. Just two weeks before this I was overcharged & got refund without a problem. So now why is that different?? Esp not being my fault?? You need to get people that say hello, welcome, may I help you, thank you, have a nice day, come again, ect. It's sad cuz it can be a nice store, get the right people in...

Iām assuming the new employee Samantha, took orders from the cashier Michael. My sisters and I were Standing in the skin care / lotion section, Ms Samantha came and stood there staring at us. She was very condescending with her intentions, āI do work here you know if you need helpā we never requested her help. She stood there for a while, one of my sisters walked away and same time Samantha did. She went back to Michael and stated āitās validated how you feel and were looking at themā looking at us ?? We go to this dollar general religiously. If the employees are going to racially profile someone, maybe donāt be suspicious about it. Absolutely ridiculous. I get That itās after school hours but weāre grown women with working jobs. Definitely a bad interaction this afternoon....
