Jerome Park — Attraction in New York

Known by locals is Pigeon Park this tiny little corner Park has a very nice playground for younger children with a single sprinkler and bathrooms. Recent updates to the park include a jogging Lane with gravel and a bike lane that is paved they have also recently updated their basketball and handball courts. There is a dog run and several places you can set up for your picnic however there is no barbecuing in this park. you will find that sometimes at the beginning or end of summer there is a bad smell in this park however that is just mud left over in the reservoir if it's not filled nothing to worry about. The park is generally kept clean however sometimes there's a bunch of teenagers around the basketball court smoking weed they generally leave everyone else alone so...

If you are looking for a great place to run, this is it. Running around the Jerome Park Reservoir reminds me of running in Central Park. The path is well maintained and takes you through different local parks in the area.There are a few parts of the route that are isolated, but you do run by Lehman College where there tends to be some foot traffic. The place where the natural and the city come together. The water in the middle is behind a very large fence so you do not have access to fish or anything. The path around is a little bit complicated and confusing because some of it runs through a residential neighborhood. But overall a very nice place to hand out.
