I give it 3 stars because now they have taken the habit of when they leave high school or university to come to smoke marijuana and the employees say nothing but another problem in the bathroom is also too it is a lack of respect. I do not have problems with people's vices but when you see children and older people you must respect. You also have a park of children who come to play that they should respect; I think they would get into the baseball field.

NYC Parks does not take care of this park or the fields , on a Thursday the garbage from Sunday is still there. See pics. They give permits until 10 PM but close the restrooms at 4:30, however they do have staff that comes around 9:15 to close all the entrances except one and make you walk all the way to the other side to get out, why can’t that staff close the bathrooms when they come close ? Horrible conditions in the fields , no upkeep.

Watch your things. Don't park your car around here at night. They will break into your car and steal your airbags. And the cops couldn't care less about these kinds of crimes but the meter maids are quick to write those tickets. 05/2024

Since April 2021 till the present this park that was once quiet and teaming with the sounds of people playing sports has changed. And not for the better. Groups of people drive to the Park from other areas and park, double park and even triple park along the park’s Goulden Avenue side that is a bus route for the BX25 and BX26. Now, it is a social gathering of extremely loud base sound coming from amplified Speakers all hours of the day and night during the warm weather and the stench of Marijuana permeates the Park. As a local resident my Quality of Life is being disturbed by outsiders loitering in and around the Park. This is another side effect of the aftermath of COVID-19. Unfortunately, other Bronx parks are effected...

I give this place 1 star just because I like the running track they have here. This place has gone downhill slowly through the years. I remember when you could park your car around here without worrying your windows will be broken or personal property will be stolen. My friend said his cars windshield screen was completely vandalized and his personal items missing in his car. The drinking alcohol and daily loud music. That you can hear 3 blocks away loud music with speakers that are 10 feet tall. It’s just not a safe park for kids anymore. It’s filthy dirty and weed or other drugs all over the place. The neighborhood is going...
