Please don’t rent from this building my son passed away yesterday because he fell off the roof of this building. The roof had no door and was open open the door to the roof had been broken a year ago and was completely off the hinges and was laying flat on the floor and was never repaired until my son passed away yesterday, that’s when they decided to put up a new door also the alarms don’t work and 50 % of the building cameras do not work as well. No one should be able to go to the roof if you’re not the fire department. My son had mental health issues and he fell off 38 floors to his death ! I tried to light candles for my son yesterday where he laid and the heartless property manager told me this little memory I’m doing is not allowed on there properly.

This building isn’t safe to live in my son isn’t the first person to fall or jump off this building , please if you have a child do not live here it’s dangerous . My son was 22 years old ! Management does the minimum maintenance possible in certain floors, seems like these guys run on favors because my floor is disgustingly dirty; the hallway walls and the trash room looked like they were smeared with shit so I had to scrub them down with citrasolv and bought a plug in scented wick for the hallway because the smell is unbelievable. I refuse to live like that. I recognize it’s also the responsibility of tenants kn wach floor to maintain cleanliness as well. The elevators are really dirty too. A the building is beautiful it looks very run down and not maintained in general. Also, anyone knows what’s the situation with the water system in the building? I saw that there were cases of Legionella in 2018 so I haven’t wanted to drink the water, however, I don’t want to drink out of plastic water bottles indefinitely so I am looking into getting a filtration system for the kitchen sink. I have live in this building for over 30 years with my family. This cycle of management is despicable. First quarter of the year a pipe burst behind my kitchen wall it took them 2 weeks to fix it as sewage water filled my kitchen daily. Spoke to management and they said use your insurance to change your carpet. So the smell can go away. Here we are now in April/May the same waste line burst again. Kitchen and new carpet is filling with waste water and I was told they can’t turn the water off again cause they did it the week prior. We pay good money in rent and have to live in this condition...
