The new LA fitness signature gym! I started coming here approx 1 month ago. For those that don't know if you have the membership for every la fitness you can go to the signature gyms too. They made a good location choice. They have parking that's outside and under the gym itself. The gym is located on the 2nd floor. You can either take steps or ride the escalator. There Is a swimming pool (just a small pool to swim short laps). They have brand new workout machines, plenty of cardio machines. Also a room for classes like yoga, zumba, fitness workout stuff. I usually go in the morning and it's the best because not a lot of people. The gym itself isn't huge but enough of a size where it does not get too crowded. Bonus: they have 3 sections for deadlifts and squats. They have the plastic weights that look like your lifting a lot when your not. Lol. They probably use these so when it drops to the floor it won't make a lot of noise. Especially bc the gym is on the 2nd floor. My experience at this gym is great. Opens at 5am weekdays. Wish it would open earlier than 8am on weekends though. Pretty sure most people will get a great workout here.

Just Reactivated my membership to this location two days ago, and I already regret it the first day I came back. Worked out first thing in the morning no soap bathrooms are disgusting. No paper towel… Went back in the evening for another workout still, nothing was cleaned or refilled… Came back today (next afternoon at 11am) Bathroom is in the same exact condition and then almost broke my ankle in a 3 foot wide crater in the floor that’s about 3” deep they leave wide open for people to trip in. Three times I’ve already mentioned that there’s no soap in the bathroom and each employee gave me the excuse “We’re supposed to be getting soap from another gym.” I’m sorry, but that’s not acceptable. People need to be able to be sanitary and wash their hands after going to the bathroom. There’s no excuse for that. They should be going out to a local store to stock the gym bathroom with soap while they are waiting for a shipment. Very unsatisfied. You tell the kids at the counter and they’re a bunch of 20-year-olds that don’t care about anything. Go elsewhere!

As a member of La Fitness and a frequent shopper at ShopRite, I have experienced recurring harassment and verbal worst in LA Fitness under below parking lot, including an incident where a man aggressively told me to "get out here" and used profanity and insults; furthermore, on a separate occasion. Do security camera check footages or to take immediate action, including apprehending the individual responsible. Furthermore, I question whether the 2009-2011 Volkswagen Routan was authorized to be present in the parking lot, particularly given its suspicious behavior, which included multiple loops, a distinct and irritating engine noise, and potential solicitation for cash or car repairs, all executed in a seemingly surreptitious manner. Here photo what car look like.

I would give a 5 star but after the customer service I received over the phone today with a trainer I’m very upset. I signed up for the gym a month ago and was supposed to meet with a trainer (1 complementary with membership) but I decided I am going to work out on my own as I had a trainer for 6 months prior at another gym. Two Fridays ago on August 30th in the aerobics room, there were mats just laying around on the ground. While getting up and walking across the room to go get weights, I slip on a mat that’s just lying around made of foam so it does not have a grip. Btw, their mats are always just everywhere. They don’t have a proper stand to hold them like Retro Fitness. I fell on my tailbone and fractured it. I could not get up for a good 5-10 minutes. I decided to just go limping home afterwords and not tell any workers. I should of, but I don’t know why I didn’t. I still can not go back to work since the incident because every time I bend down, it would hurt insanely. I also have kids, so this is such an inconvenience. It’s been two weeks since the incident and the trainer I was supposed to meet with calls me eagerly telling me there’s a promotion. I told him about the incident at the gym, and instead of transferring me to a manager, he just pushes the promotion again telling me “I’m sorry about the incident but if you work with a trainer you would not fall, are you interested” implying I don’t know how to work out. I told him I was not because I can’t work out right now since I’m in a lot of pain and he just hangs up on me. I wish I can remember his name to put into this review. I was not going to make a big deal about it but the customer service of how pushy he was on me paying for training when I literally just told him I fractured my tailbone in the facility was just ridiculous. Was he even listening? And to think I would train with a person like that…

The sauna is always closed too. What’s...

I’ve been going to la fitness for years. It’s a solid gym with decent equipment but since they closed the e service locations the gym has become much more packed to the point where the gym is very dirty. Yesterday I went into the locker room and the garbage cans were overfilled to the point where people were throwing trash next to the garbage can. Also when I decided to use the bathroom, once finished the stall door wouldn’t unlock and I was stuck inside. Only options was for me to jump over or crawl underneath. I had to crawl underneath. That’s so gross. Once alerting the staff, it seems that they are aware of both issues. The janitor apparently didn’t show up that day which happens but at the very least one of the sales rep could put on some gloves and put a new garbage bag. It’s common sense. I used to work at la fitness and even at this location too so I understood but even the janitor wasn’t there the manger should take accountability and handle it him/herself. Also they seem to be aware of the broken lock on the door which sometimes locks people in and forces them to crawl or jump over. What a big safety hazard for someone if they have to jump and accidentally trip and fall. Only other alternative is crawling on a dirty gym floor. ABSOLUTELY GROSS!! They should at least put a sign on the door saying that door is locked and not to use it. La fitness used to be worth it but it is not worth it anymore. People are gross and prices are similar to other privately owned and cleaner gyms. Best of luck to anyone who wants to join, in my opinion totally...

Hire better employees. You seem to have hired the worse possible person you could have. It's 5am and my first day and I came for the first time just to be handed a tiny towel. I explained that I only use the pool, so I was given a second towel. I explained that I payed the extra towel fee because I'd rather the regular sized towel. Guy says I don't care, cancel it. YOU GET SMALL TOWELS.

2 weeks later this same guy is at the front and I take the usual 2 tiny towels. I'm told you can take 1. I explain that I pay the towel fee and I use the pool which means I'll be using your shower facilities and you are the same person to tell me to take 2 towels. Guy says I don't care, and demanded my 2nd towel. I like starting my days with a workout, not daily disrespect. It's not a towel issue. At least hire people that know how to talk, you can get away with your stupid towel fee. I'd bring my own towel if I didn't have to see this kind of attitude where I pay to workout.

Worst possible employee you can find and you just gladly seem to hire. It's 5 in the morning and this is what I have to deal with.

Left my goggles at the shower room and called to ask if there is a lost and found service. The employee said that they will call me back when they close the gym for the day. No call.

I cancelled my membership and you require sending paper mail, only so you can EMAIL me back a confirmation. Stupidest thing I've seen in a while.

Good gym, bad...
