Linden Park — Attraction in New York

Nice large size athletic field were kids, teens and young adults can enjoy a day at the park. At time the park can use some maintenance needs but that falls on park department with a D/F grade. Don't get me wrong, at times it's in good condition but I believe they can do better. To me they lack a small playground area for moms to bring out the very little ones like 1 to 5 year olds, they have an area for 6 and up. They have a swing set for little ones but can use some maintenance work done at times.

Park is used for many different types of exercise. Track and field, basketball courts, tennis courts and they have money bar sets for 6 year olds and over, so on.

To be honest, this neighborhood area is not the safest of them all. Between the neighborhood and not keeping the grounds in best shape is my reason...

The park needs some major improvements in the playground area... I guess that will be next bkz the football/soccer field, basketball & tennis courts, and gym equipment area was redone... The playground has some uneven grounds (the worst is blocked off), no big kid swings for the toddlers that are too big for the baby swings... The smallest baby slide has a rat nest beneath it so watch out... FYi: the benches w/tables are narrowly placed together so take your time when you sit and/or stand... The park has reopened after being closed for renovations. Renovations included most of the park but primarily focused on fixing the soccer/football field and replacing the old track field. I’m glad that they have reopened because I missed doing my walks around the track here. This park is large and has basketball courts and handball courts. There are swings and a sprinkler when the weather permits. Ample seating around the entire park and my favorite part of the park is the small exercise area with a few exercise equipment for the community to utilize. This park is close to me which is definitely convenient...
