I ended up at this restaurant by chance. I had planned to grab some fast food, but after waiting too long in line, I gave up. As I rode by, I noticed they served catfish—one of my favorites—so I decided to stop in.
The place was empty when I walked in, which made me a little hesitant. Still, a friendly woman greeted me and offered to take my order, but when she saw I was using the self-service kiosk, she let me handle it on my own. As soon as my order was placed, the same woman headed into the kitchen and started cooking—she seemed to be running the whole show herself. Despite that, she was incredibly efficient and didn’t miss a beat. She even double-checked my side order to make sure everything was correct.
While I waited, two more customers came in. I struck up a conversation with a woman who asked if I’d eaten there before. I told her it was my first time. She mentioned that a friend had recommended the place. When I asked if she trusted her friend’s taste in food, she said she did.
Soon, my food was ready. I rode my scooter about 10 minutes home, and even after the trip, everything was still hot. The food was delicious—well-seasoned, flavorful, and packed securely, which I appreciated since I was transporting it on a scooter.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the service. If you’re in the neighborhood, I highly recommend giving this place a try—especially if you’re a fan of...

Read moreSeafood urway was fantastic. I popped In after work about eight pm to grab quick bite. I was greeted right away by Warren who was very nice and engaging. Told me what they offered at that time which was mostly fried dishes. Steamed and buffet food was mostly done during peak hours. I opted for fried catfish and wings and fries. While my food was being prepared we talked about both of our island homes and his business. He even sent me next door to his Pop who had the Jamaican food spot to get a drink, which was nice. The partnership. I will say that being at this establishment really reminded me of the rum shops in Barbados. When my food came I got some Shirley biscuits to take with it. I will say the food was delicious. The catfish was seasoned extremely well and was very flavorful. The wings and fries was also good, but not as good as the catfish. He gave me rum punch which was good but needed more rum. Then again I'm an...
