Love this branch. They do adult GED CLASSES FOR FREE. You will have to take a math base exam first.

I have been going to this library, over 3 yrs now. It haa improved. The seating is much better and more computers. New staff this year and they are friendly in my opinion. Also more activities to engage toddlers, parents, kids, teenagers and seniors. Aerobics on a Saturday, Latin Dance for seniors, Resume writing, just to name a few. Also persons who need ID, IDYNC is there now, great idea. One of my pet peeves, sometimes is time to go onto a computer you are assigned to, a person will still be on it, you may have to get security or let them know you need to be on it now or else you loose your spot. I mean seriously some persons can be annoying!! There are alot of homeless persons there, you cannot get rid of them, sometimes a person goes through a rough period, some of them have an odour, some of them keep to them selves. I don't know if something can be used, that wouldnt be harmful, to help with this odour especially as Summer would soon be here. Am not even sure if it has AC Then you have the mentally ill ones which is not much but you got to be on your guard. The guard does a good job trying to contain the noise and even some staff will have an input. Yes it has the noisy bunch but they seem to be settling down a bit. However it would be nice to see longer hours on the use of the computer like an hour or even the use of getting it loaned. Other libraries offer that. Sometimes just to do a resume or apply to jobs, 30 mins is not enough, lets be real! Yes you can go back but sometimes you have to wait awhile. In addition, if there are no kids there, due to the amount of persons waiting, they can use their discreation and allow persons to use it or find out the urgency of what needs to be done from the person. I noticed as flu season is supposedly over. The dispenser is no longer up. In my opinion in a public place it should...

Good place however some staff they think they are working in walstreet and act unprofessional. Front desk lady who is Hispanic said she doesn’t speak Spanish. Adult learning center is a waste of time they act like they want to help you but they don’t and if you live far away you have to pay for cabs like I did just to go and have my time wasted. The census guy was there and they had a class but if you aren’t a student you get treated like dirt they offer everyone a seat and I was standing like an idiot then the social worker was looking at me like what is she doing here. They offer everyone a seat except me they are racist and bias. I would not go there I have asked Nicolas Simon to give me a testing date for the tasc exam and I still haven’t heard from him I wanted to do the math class that you can do all at home without going to library and they called me asking what I wanted to do. How many times I have to tell this people I only want math but to study independently. Now they send emails so I can support them because they claim the government is going to shut down the libraries unreal. Why can people do the right...

I am actually frustrated that I have to go all the way to the midmanhattan library to have a proper study because other libraries don't meet up to par. This is one of the libraries out of the 4 public libraries wherein my house is located. They have very good hours but even the staffs make so much noise than clients so how do they control others. There are so many homeless pple everywhere which for once they are not to blame for the noise. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A LIBRARY!!! Something needs to be done, the Brooklyn public library including this one has to be...
