Lot-Less — Attraction in New York

I have a daycare, for which I always buy most of my toys, curtains, kitchen, utensils, kitchen, gadgets, furniture, etc. I have bought clothes in there and stuff for my dog, holidays items, and much much more. I’ve been buying there since it was called “Amazing Savings”. I have seen the manager (skinny light skinned, but not white, woman) being very obnoxious, rude and disrespectful with all other customers for years, but today it was my turn. I got an item, which has two prices. When the cashier call next, I let the person behind me go ahead, because the manager was working as a cashier as well. I wanted to go to her, so she would tell me the real price. At that moment her friend came to visit her, and she got very happy to see her friend. She asked her friend to follow her to her office. I ask her “before you leave can you please tell me which one of these is the right price for this item. With a horrible attitude she looked at and loudly said “GOOD MORNING” I looked at her confused, not knowing why she was giving me an attitude. She repeated herself. I asked her “why didn’t you say good morning to the 10 people before me that you’ve assisted? She repeated herself with the same rudeness. I asked “why are you giving me an attitude?” She looked at me again and said it again! I asked again for her to answer my questions. she looked at me and said “she will assist you” pointing at another cashier. She turned around and walked away with her friend to her office, in a way to punish me for defending myself from her. She’s used to those hispanic customers who would not dare to challenge the disrespect and humiliation she exposed us in front of every other customer that is in the store. You can tell by the faces of the other employees that they were very uncomfortable and that they were afraid to say anything because of her retaliation. now I understand why they can’t never keep employees in that store for more than a few months. It’s just a matter of time before the store’s owners get in trouble because of her! In the mean time, I’m going to start collecting data and witnesses to write a petition. We don’t want those negative, arrogant, disrespectful, obnoxious people to get our business in this...

How about let’s leave no stars. I usually go once in awhile in this store, for this visit I went with my 12 year old daughter whom happen to be right next to me showing me a hello kitty watch which I told her I would not buy because she has an Apple Watch. And a 4ft tall skinny red headed lady starts insulting my daughter saying “you are the little guy that comes here everyday touching, whose mother doesn’t teach manners” . I turned around and confronted her as to why was she speaking to my daughter like that when she never comes to this store. After my daughter lowers her mask when I confronted her she then back tracks that she thought it was someone else. As someone born in this country and have fought for this country I’ve never had such an appalling experience at any retail store.You should take time to properly train your employees to avoid harassing customers in confusion of past experiences and encounters with other clients. I was an avid shopper whom invested quiet a lot of money in this store even when items weren’t of good quality. Ever since I haven’t seen Armando this store declined in integrity and etiquette. I go to these department stores and discount stores so you don't have to! But I am happy to say that this is a location of Lot Less I absolutely recommend! I've been coming to this Lot Less for almost 10 years now and never had a disappointing experience. The customer service is always on point, the employees are always helpful and friendly and the service is great. This location is well stocked, well organized, clean. Like some Lot Less, there's things you'll find here that maybe other Lot Less don't have and vice versa. I've ALWAYS found some great finds here and great deals.

It can get a little packed at times but its never been ridiculous or overwhelming.

Overall, if you're in the Marble Hill/Riverdale section of the Bronx, look no further then Lot Less for great discounts.
