UPDATE: ZERO STARS (one star is as low as they’ll let me go). I ordered a chicken parm hero. While waiting I observed a worker take cans out of regular trash can (barehanded) and put them in recycling bin, as well as pick up trash off floor; after doing all this he went behind counter and started helping fill orders. NEVER WASHED HANDS. When he tried to give me napkins I refused them. When I pointed out that he handled garbage without washing hands, after a slight hesitation (annoyance?) he said “you’re right” and washed his hands. Problem is this though: If I never say anything, he’d be handling food orders with DIRTY HANDS. Sorry, have to give ZERO stars because this offense is too egregious! (And I’m sure it’s happened in the past. Maybe this is why some have complained of feeling queasy after eating here.) ///// ORIGINAL REVIEW: 2 stars because they didn’t back up their braggadocio: for me, this is NOT “the taste you always come back to.” It’s basically on par with a decent dollar pizza joint. The pizza is serviceable if you’re hungry. And you’re not going to bother with the crust (unless you’re STARVING); only top tier pizzas are good from tip to crust and worthy of being devoured in their entirety. The pizza itself is a bit too doughy and there’s really nothing that stands out. Dough so so. Sauce so so. Cheese ok. Overall experience? I rate it B for Basic. The slices are a nice size which they should be for the $3+ price. I ordered 2 slices and was done after the first one; I only ate the second one because there are starving kids in Europe. I have no intention of ordering pizza from here ever again (because mediocre pizza is almost as offensive as bad pizza). Next time I’m in the area, I’m crossing Broadway and going a few shops down to try Big...
Read moreTheir Pizza especially the pepperoni or plain cheese is absolutely fabulous!!! The crust be very nice and firm with the cheese sizzling if you prefer your pizza like that or they can have it soft and hanging if you request not too hot. I really like their pizza!!! I go and buy 3 slices almost every single time. A few times I visited the customer service was just ok. They really need a little extra help in the customer service field. The worst part about here is they love to use strong cleaning products to wipe down the place especially when people are inside eating pizza. No one wants to be eating their favorite pizza and smelling strong fumes making you feel like you’re in the bathroom sitting on the toilet!!! I personally feel they can use a mild product in wayyy more water to wipe tables and counters. Remember this is where people are dining and it’s so unprofessional and uncomfortable to be smelling a strong scent similar to Clorox/Pinesol/Fabuloso or what ever they use. Drop a small small small amount in a bucket of water & wipe away. Would be nice to add a nice plug-in incense to give a nice atmosphere smell instead of raw Clorox/ Fabuloso. I watch them wipe the counter the pizza is displayed on with the same product (Smells more like Fabuloso and Clorox) and was in complete shock. I don’t believe they use any water what so ever (Just the raw Clorox with Fabuloso). Dining & Food service please not Bathroom & Shower strong smell. Buy some plug-in incense if needed. They pizza is that good I would go back but more encouraged...
Read moreI ordered using Uber eats. Craving Pasta! I was disappointed in my meal for a few reasons. Eggplant parmigiana listed under pastas dinners doesn’t come with pasta. Pasta is listed as a side. It wasn’t clear that there would be no pasta until I received it. Because I chose a vegetable as a side thinking an Eggplant parm dinner included pasta. Additionally I received a phone call to clarify how I wanted the shrimp I chose as an add on prepared. I was then told that the prices on Uber Eats were wrong and I would be charged additionally. But is that not the responsibility of the establishment to ensure things are correct? Thank goodness this wasn’t a case where I didn’t have additional funds to cover your error.
Anyhoo for the $39 I spent the hard garlic bread, warm soda and the pasta with no pasta were a waste. And the shrimp that I asked to be grilled definitely wasn’t grilled and...
