THREE PART EXPERIENCE: 1st - My Wife and I had difficulty finding information about Pelham Bit Stables, because no Web Site could be found. There were Some reviews, but they were between 7-8 years old. Come on Pelham Bit Stables ... It's 2020. Invest a "Bit" in a Web Site. 2nd - After locating the Stables, It was Our first time there. There was so what of a crowd of people waiting, but No Staff assisting with crowd control, or general directions. Finally, a guy handling the Ponys shouts, "If you haven't signed up yet, wait over between the gates."(under the hot Sun) ... But doesn't really point to specific spot/area. Then, seems to forget about us for about 20 minutes. It wasn't until a trail group came back from riding, that another group got up from seats under a shaded area, that my wife and I, and two other girls, just decided to move over to those seats. After about another 15 minutes of no customer service, I decided to walk over to this window where the guy handling the Pony rides kept exchanging money for those Pony rides. I spoke to a 10-12 year old kid, who actually explained the price and for the horse trail, and gave us a disclaimer form to fill out. Yeah ... 45 minutes later, I get Serviced by a 6th grader.(((SMH))) 3rd - We're finally beginning our 30 minute trail ride. Our Guide saved the day. I wish I had asked his named, (Young Black Guy - think it started with an "S" ... 'Shane' 'Sean' maybe), but I was in the back, so I didn't hear it when he introduced himself. None the less, He was very professional; very pleasant; and very mindful of all four of us. He kept calling out to each of us as we road out, and as we road back, to make sure we were doing good. Honestly ... While the business gets only half a star, Our Guide definitely gets 5 STARS. If not for him, we probably would not go back again, but would not recommend P.B.S. at this point. The business itself had very little professionalism, and nearly zero Customer Service skills. But our Guide made a great enough impression, so we're talking about giving the place a second chance. Hey, the Horses were well behaved, and $35. per Person, for a 30 minute Horseback trail ride ... without traveling far. I'd say it's fair ... IF ... they improve their...
Read moreI went horse back riding for the first and last time at Pelham Bits Stables the 4th of July weekend many years ago. I was in the group with the beginners. Just before I placed my feet in the stirrups, someone on another horse took off and spooked my horse. I was bouncing all over the place. I finally fell off some where along the trail. I remember looking down at my arm. The bone was protruding through my skin. I was told that my body had went into shock. I woke up in the hospital where I spent two weeks. I have two steel plates in my right forearm. I had to go through physical therapy to learn how to use my right hand again. Jacoby and Myers took my case. We went to trial. I was awarded a judgment of $300,000. I learned two years later that Pelham Bit Staples’ accident insurance policy had lapsed three months before my accident! Jacoby and Myers stated that the then owner of Pelham Bits had also filed for bankruptcy. I couldn’t believe it, but it was true. After everything I had went through, I never collected a dime for my pain and suffering. I still experience pain and I don’t have full use of my right wrist and hand, not to mention I am scarred for life. These are pictures of the front and back of my arm.

Read moreI went here last week and everyone there is unprofessional and they steal!! I left my items there while going on a ride with my partner and when I came back 40$ was missing from my wallet!! Of course they’re going to say no one touched it, but it’s disgusting I couldn’t leave my items there! It says they’re not responsible for lost items! But are they responsible for going inside your bag and then Wallet and then stealing your money??.. I asked the young lady if I can place my bag inside and she said yes, and I do not know why I trusted them! They’re disgusting thieves with equestrians the size of a peanut! The man there who took us on the ride was disrespectful, dismissive, and did not know anything bout horses! The best thing this place had was James and he left so now this place is run to the ground! I will never spend or waste my time here with these...
