Pratt Institute — Attraction in New York

I know several people who went to Pratt including an architect that I worked with in the 1980’s and my daughter and her classmates. Let me just say that both my professional associate and my daughter are extremely successful in their fields of endeavor and are generally happy, well adjusted human beings. I loved the campus because it reminded me of Harvard Yard where I attended school back in the dark ages. Classes quality of SATURDAY ART SCHOOL is extremely low. Uninspiring teachers and lazy curriculum. I would not recommend to spend your time and money here. Both of my 8 yo and 12 yo were bored to death. When I expressed my concerns the principal, teachers and curators refused to address them : “if you don’t like something, it’s your problem”. We went on a campus tour today. My daughter and I loved the campus. It's not too big or too small. Nice old buildings and an engine room. My daughter wants to do animation and film. The facilities for them are up to date and student to professor ratio is 12 to 1. Dorms seem good. We weren't able to go into any of them but from the outside and description they sounded nice.
