Choice Market – Brooklyn’s Hidden Gem That Deserves a Crown
If there’s one breakfast spot that truly understands food, it’s Choice Market in Brooklyn. And when I say understands, I mean they master it. I’ve been coming here for years—took a break for about three years, came back, and it was like I never left. Same insane quality. Same incredible flavors. Same attention to detail. That’s the mark of a place that doesn’t cut corners.
Let’s get into it.
The Food: This Ain’t Just Breakfast – It’s an Experience
If you love fresh, high-quality, made-with-care food, this is your place. They don’t just slap things on a grill and call it a day. They craft their meals. Everything is done with skill, precision, and real passion. • The Eggs? Organic, cooked to absolute perfection, and never that overcooked, rubbery nonsense you get at most places. • The Cheese? Melts like a dream into your breakfast, adding that perfect, creamy bite. • The Pancakes? Fluffy, golden, exactly how pancakes should be. • The French Toast? Legendary. I haven’t had it in a while, but trust me—I know it’s next level. • The Fruit? Always fresh, never sad or mushy. Every plate feels like it was made for a king.
But listen, we need to talk about something important:
The Bread. Oh. My. God. The Bread.
This isn’t just bread—this is art. This is craftsmanship. It’s fresh, baked to absolute perfection, with that crisp outer layer and soft, warm, airy inside that makes every bite feel like a warm hug.
And it makes sense—the owner? French. A food genius. I think he even owns a donut shop a few blocks away and another one in Midtown. This man knows flavor, knows quality, and knows exactly what he’s doing.
The Setup: High-End Execution, Every Single Time
One of the things that sets this place apart is how they cook. They’re not just using some basic diner griddle—they’ve got high-end stoves, top-quality pans, and the kind of kitchen setup that real chefs respect. Every meal is crafted, not rushed.
The People: A Team That Cares
The manager? Amazing. Been there for years, always on top of things, always making sure customers are happy. The staff? Friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Service is on point—you feel like you’re at home, but with restaurant-quality execution.
Consistency: 100+ Visits, 0 Misses
I’ve been here over 100 times, and they’ve never missed. That’s crazy. I don’t know another place that delivers at that level every single time.
Final Verdict: If You Know, You Know.
If you haven’t eaten here yet, fix that immediately. And if they ever open in Bergen County, it’s OVER. They’ll take over the breakfast game.
This is a five-star...

Curious if I am the only one that have had something like this happened.
I ordered on Saturday August 14th an order of over $50 for pick up thought their online service managed by Toast. When I arrived home and started eating with my family the sandwich, lentils and sweet potatoes were totally fine. But I noticed that the "fresh" grilled tuna fish in the salad did not taste fresh. It was fizzy and extra potent in flavor. My husband tried it and found the same taste and we deemed it inedible.
I called the restaurant to let them know. I was told that I was the only person that had complained about the fish. I was glad for others but not feeling heard or, frankly, believed. They asked me to come back for them to change it. I explained that I was home, meaning a $50 taxi ride away (there and back) and that it was incidental that I was in their neighborhood. Basically I am not around that neighborhood ever so I would prefer to get the cost of the fish -not the salad- refunded. The rest of the order was totally fine.
Unfortunately I was met with a NO REFUND FOR YOU. That the best I could do is to come with my recently acquired fish and to also show the receipt in person. I was perplexed since it was all ordered online and readily available if they really wanted to find it. From personal experience, to issue a refund -partial or total- in these digital platforms is very easy. Since our conversation went nowhere I mentioned to the person that my only option left was to dispute the credit card charge, which I completely found unfair to them and to me. Why take unnecessary time and energy from both parties for something easily solvable?
Furthermore, after the phone call I took the time to email them directly and explain the situation. That I would prefer for this to be solved between us without involving anyone else to which I have not had a response after 10 days. So the claim is going.....
I was very disappointed because: -I felt not heard, nor believed -There was no interest in figuring out a solution other than one that would suit them, considering that I live far from them -Digital platforms are user friendly and changes in orders possible -Having no response to a direct email after 10 days is disregarding.
If you order from them, I hope none of you have a...

Unacceptable behavior by some of the staff here. Will never return.
My wife and I called in an order. It was our third time ordering food here in the last two months, and one item we ordered was a yogurt with granola. The first time ordering this dish, my wife had asked for a substitute with the mixed berry add on - blueberries and bananas, rather than how it is offered by default. Second time she did not. This time she asked for the substitute, and offered to pay as the woman on the phone seemed resistant to the request.
After affirming our order, the woman put the phone down thinking she had hung up, and proceeded to mock my wife for the request, which we overheard. My wife went to the restaurant to complain about this, and after an argument had ensued they cancelled our order.
I do not recommend going to this business at all. Completely...
