I came here on Friday night to see Usher Rendezvous the theater refused to turn up the volume if you know you know the area is prominently a not a African American theater but this was the only place the tickets were not sold out on that date so I came here. So let me back up some I was by 5 min late because I was served burnt pop corn 🤬. Then when we are sitting the volume was very low to the point a few other paying customer starts yelling turn up the volume it's to low. So I got up to find staff that may help us, so I coincidentally came across a security guard that happens to be right outside the theater door 🧐 hmmmm so I proceed to kindly mention to him the music is so low I can have a full conversation with my neighbor and she could hear me with out me screaming. He was nice enough to call a staff that works at the theater and that when everything became very disrespectful. He open the door and says I can hear it perfectly fine out here. I looked at him like of course you can the theater shape for you to hear once u open the door then he walks in and is like I don't see an issue I replied sir I can have a conversation about this without rasing my voice that means it not load at all. He then stated to me oh we don't want to disturb the other people that want to watch the movie in a different theater I looked at him like what we all paid this is suppose to be a concert at least turn up the volume please enough that this can be more enjoyable. Mr staff says with a sarcastic monotone said he will see what he can do then walks off 40minutes in to #Usher movie another paying customer proceeds again to now go and find the manager and ask them to turn up the volume once again the same rude staff attempt to by turning on a bright light the hits the majority of the screen during usher preformance for 10min I guess to fix the sound so they turn up the volume finally or fix But only 20min into the show ending that's when we start to truly enjoy the show . I don't want to call this a racial situation but Regal you can do better. This is an African American artist with the majority of his fan are most likely African Americans and different cultures coming to see him but the answer your staff gave me seems like it came from a higher up especially with security at the door there was only one show so again shame on you Regals. Terrible experience not everyone could afford tickets so Usher Rendezvous was suppose to be our concert so this was definitely something to mention about...
Read moreRegal Atlas is an okay movie theater. It is basically the only one in the area and so therefore has no real competition. The theater is really starting to show it's age. On this recent trip i took my kids to see Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. It was a 3:20 start time. We purchased tickets online and had picked our seats. We arrived at 2:45 p.m. and once inside we got on a not so long line at the concessions stand. After 20 minutes i noticed that the only forward movement we made was due to the people who had decided to ditch the line!! I turned around and asked the man at the door why the long wait and was told we had a sudden rush and it was causing a delay. If this is the delay on a saturday afternoon what would it look like on a saturday night during date prime time movie attendance? Finally at 3:18 - more than 30 minutes later we being served. Turns out the real reason is that even though there were 5 people behind the counter only 2 were actually serving people!!! Luckily we made it to out seats in time for the previews - which in my view are way to many...but that is for...
Read moreSent an email to corporate. We were at a school wide event and the kids missed 1/3 of the movie because nothing was ready. Mind you, this movie was set up for a school trip and no other patronage was occurring. Pricilla was extremely disrespectful, even parents that were chaperoning were in shock to how unorganized this was. We requested that the movie be restarted so the kids could actually watch the movie they had paid for ($22 for the movie, popcorn/some snacks). I've been to this theatre personally and now on a school trip and I will be canceling my Regal membership. Unreal terrible service. Also, pretty sure Pricilla was trying to steal, kids were being charged more than the price of snacks (kids were allotted time to buy additional snacks in the middle of the movie). When we caught her in the act she stated "oh it's for charity" and began to refund all of the children. Do we now think middle school children can answer for themselves regarding charity? You can look at my other reviews I rarely complain. Also the bathroom smells like smelly fish (you can guess...
