Richi Rich Palace — Attraction in New York

Horrible manager, Horrible food, and service. I've never wrote any review in my life but this time I have to so people actually know what they might face on their very important day. Me and my family had to go through terrible experience on of our family occasion. This stupid manager named Sharma agrees to do anything for you when we go for a booking the place but at the end they put you in a humiliating situation unimaginable. There are lack of food, only few pieces of meat floating on gallons of soup, my guest had to wait for long to arrive the food, and when the food arrived my guest were afraid to get enough food on their plate because the food dishes were so tiny that even if 3 people take 2 spoon of rice each then the pot will be empty. They have many hidden charges so be careful when you go book the place. I am a Muslim and they charged me for bar services, I don't know why. When I booked the place he didn't explain any of this to us, but just the day before the program they started showing me all these unnecessary, nonsense charges, and shocked us to death. I had to increase the amount of people about weeks before and when I let him know that he said"okay , sir/mam no problem, you will get anything you want, no problem." I even paid him extra for that so he gives me few more seats for my guests, but unfortunately, in a tiny space, he got a wall in between the restaurant and squeezed as many seats as possible to arrange seats for my guests. It was so embarrassing to see my guest standing and eating. we were suppose to get two flavored ice cream, first of all he gave us wrong flavor and the bucket of ice cream he put on the table was almost empty. We were watching him saying nothing to avoid the scene. when we told him nicely that the ice cream you provided was almost empty why? then he got mad, and saying "oh, you want more ice cream? then we were like, Mr. Sharma, we were suppose to have another 2 curry dishes, then he was like yeah, it's coming" and half of my guest were done eating by that time. This manager even packed food from our place to give it to somebody. I was watching and saying nothing. He's Such a LIAR!! he should be sued for the harassment! He was very disrespectful towards me, my husband and my parents. Wish there was a "No star" option. I would suggest, do take your time, ask all the necessary questions to save yourself from...

Horrible Horrible Management. i have been to many restaurants but never seen such horrible management in my entire life. the new manager/super is beyond rude and crazy. He forgets all the things he says he would provide even after writing it down in the contract. then when you show him what he mentioned in the contract he changes it to his own comfort. Such a horrible experience i had in front of all my guests. He does not know how to BEHAVE at all regardless whether you are talking to him alone or in front of a whole crowd.

Service was pathetic. charged us for BAR service when we did not even use or need the bar what so ever. Did not bring the food to the guests when needed, even though we paid for waiter service they did not do their jobs. on top they did not bring out our cake. they brought it up when every single guests left the part. I cannot mention how pathetic one restaurant can be on a scale from 1-10. That's how horrible their management,service and everything else was. we had no other choice to book another restaurant by the time they started doing all the dumb stuff to us. else we would never ever ever go to this place after seeing how the manager had behaved and how crazy and confused forgetful his mind is.

I suggest take your time and find a better restaurant...

I had my party here & had a terrible experience. The manager and staff are very unprofessional. A few days before my event we told them how we wanted the chairs, the tables, everything. I come to the hall & I see chairs & tables without linens, chair covers, & sashes. They ran out of black linens & chair covers. ON TOP OF THAT, they washed the chair covers & it was really wrinkly. We were told “we will iron it no problem.” When it was brought to the managers attention he told us it looked fine that way it shouldn’t be a problem. The following day of my event, we came to pick up the left over liquor & supplies. Apparently there was “no more liquor left” when clearly there was before we left. We didn’t wanna bring it home that same night because it was too much. I wonder where all that liquor went .. Overall, this place is beautiful, but the manager & employees are...
