We visited the university in order to attend the Jiu Jitsu World League tournament. I'll make sure to review the actual location/venue, not the event, because I have different opinions on that. The university staff who handled the parking and clean up were very nice. The restrooms were kept clean despite the amount of people that attended this event. The gym itself is pretty small, as mentioned in other reviews, which just made it difficult to be comfortable even walking around. While their band needs more energy and practice (okay, it's not an HBCU band but still...) the cheerleaders were engaging, the staff was helpful, the jumbotrons were of high definition and the gymnasium is well designed with the exception, again involving the band, that it was dimly lit where they were placed. Read moreWent to Rose Hill Gymnasium for the 100th anniversary game vs UMass. While the game itself didn't go the way most of the crowd was hoping for (what a game though) it was a great experience even if not a sellout crowd.
