Staten Island FunPark — Attraction in New York

This place is not for family anymore, ive reached out to the Email of the owner, no response. Im being ignored for the discrimination i went through last Sunday. I’m sick, absolutely heartbroken. Im Charlotte Harrison, email me back because I am trying to speak to someone. I Dont want to have leave this nasty review but i will. I’m done trying to call this park. I don't want a refund, ij fact i want something else. My family deserves and wants a “sorry” for what occurred On July 28th. On that Sunday i had a nightmare encounter with a cashier who treated my daughter like she was an idiot. Just because my daughter got down syndrome it gives no one the right, no need for someone to have judged my daughter the way this woman did. She not ONLY overly questioned my daughter, BUT she made her feel like she wasn’t allowed to speak on what she wanted unless i spoke. I wanted my daughter to feel confident in being able to speak about wanting Go kart tickets. Yet this disgusting judgmental cashier broke her spirit and confidence. Finally after i decide to speak up, I purchased the tickets, I took my daughter down to the go karts and she had to deal with a horrible male worker, he was over weight and a person of color. He gave her extreme attitude when adjusting her seatbelt. I will never come here again and I’ve been coming here for a long time. I was here last summer last time and decided to visit. What a mistake, I wish to get apology. Looking at other reviews, i find it really unfair a woman who had no money got free rides and my daughter got judged instead? Never coming back as a customer. I simply want a apology to my child by that cashier who attended me July 28th. Apologies matter when you are in the wrong, it teaches children about their worth. I don’t want my daughter to think that was ok. This place is ran by judgement this year. Too much changed. Please EMAIL ME! ❌❌ If I could put zero stars I would.❌❌ We paid for a round of batting in the batting cages - walked up to the area to get a helmet & bat for my 7 y/o. They DO NOT have children size helmets! Why would you sell a ticket to a child without saying they do NOT have helmets to fit children? They ONLY want to take your money!! We walked up and asked to trade the batting cage ticket for the go-carts and pay the difference - NOPE they refused to do so! We were not asking for a refund - all we wanted was to swap the ticket for go carts and pay the difference in total. ❌THIEVES❌!! Out of all the batting cages most were locked/out of order anyway. But to get a child all excited to do an activity then take that away is FOUL!! They should be accommodating the children- not letting them down! We have been going to this park for 35 years - NEVER AGAIN!! And I will be letting everyone know to take their business elsewhere! Only person they hurt in this situation was a 7 YEAR OLD CHILD!! That’s disgusting!! I understand no refunds for your money back but that is far from what we asked for! The park is great. The front desk lady- horrible. I came here with my boyfriend and three children. My boyfriend and I were going to do mini-golf then decided not to and kindly asked for a refund. We got an attitude from her in return. Then my boyfriend decided he wanted to play but we had an extra go cart ticket (which was of the same value as the mini golf) and she proceeded to curse at my boyfriend about how before he was “b**ching” about not playing (which wasn’t true, we were being extremely kind). Not to mention, earlier my brother asked for a blue golf ball and said he likes the color of the blue balls better and the lady behind the counter the chuckled suggestively at what he said. Really??? Are you kidding me??? Extremely inappropriate. What kind of associate curses and laughs at someone and something a CHILD said at a FAMILY park? How miserable are you?...
