Met Food Victory Blvd — Local services in New York

Besides that I love shopping inmet food for their customer treatment which is so respectful their produce is no better anywhere their fruit platters are always fresh n I will only get them from met I'm a retried teacher n before covid I always got.their fruit platters from met n brought them.to my bklyn school n all my Staten island teacher friends all agreed n go-to met till.today. Besides the best fruit the staff is always so pleasant hi how are you I get greeted n now for your fish departmet Igor is also amazing n his stuffed filet n seafood salad is as If my Italian mom made it n me. I told Igor no more Xmas eve cooking fish I order from him n my family thinks I made it haha.Met Food u r rated a 10 always n thankyou for all staff especially cashiers always greeted with a smile 😃 thank you I'll continue to brag n promote met food please appreciate your staff n I'm a 20yr...

They're ok, a bit Pricey though, but my favorite Italian Bread there is only ($2.35,) much cheaper than over at Hylan Blvds Fruit Market. Theirs has gone up from ($2.99 to $3.49,) bc of New Mgmt. In fact, almost everything has gone higher in This Store. I call their higher pricing, "COVID-19 RIP OFFS." On Monday 8/22/22 and Today, 8/25/22, I finally went back to MetFood, its been awhile that I have shopped there. I liked how they re-did the Flooring throughout the Store, it's really better looking and nice. Very clean and spacious now. However, my once cheaper Italian Bread has since gone up to $3.29, ( I still bought it thou.) I went back today, because they had sales on my favorite Mangoes, coming out this time of the year. In the Winter months, they're NOT so good. They're force ripped, not same qualities. Still, I guess they're keeping up with the Inflation that had beset us...

I only go here for con venience. Place is way too expensive. Non food items are normal price but food is ridiculous. 18 bucks for a chicken! Beef isn't in my vocabulary when in this store I would say everything is at least a dollar and up more than it's competitors. I will say that the employees are fantastic, always helpful, pleasant and smiling. I just ran in again I didn't have any meat for my tomato gravy. I bought ground beef, boneless pork ribs, 2 small beef ribs a pack of sausage, grated cheese, eggs head of garlic and an onion. $60! For friggin gravy. Imagine if ibdidnt have the tomatoes! I wanted to get chicken but couldn't find any under $15. The eggs were even $4. Is there a shortage of chickens? When did chicken become more expensive than salmon? I'm gonna have to start eating...
