Labcorp — Local services in New York

This was only Labcorp within reasonable distance that had an appointment available for the date/time needed by a family member. I was really concerned after reading the negative reviews and told my relative to be prepared for a possible long wait time, potential for difficulty with the staff, etc. To my surprise, my relative reported that the front desk and phlebotomist were very courteous, was seen exactly at the appointment time, and the phlebotomist was very skilled at the blood draw, single stick, minimal discomfort. So, wanted to share that experience given the many negative experiences others reported. Note that the appointment was early afternoon, between their lunch closing time and the facility closing time...

This is The Worst Run Lab Company and Locations I've ever experienced. I went to New Dorp lane, they butchered my appointment. I come here to Manor Rd., they tell me they don't do testing for what I was scheduled for. Does this Company understand that people arrange their day, take off work, set up child care around the appointment and you arrive to the facility just to be sent away, wait for an indefinite time while people who don't have appointments and come in after you get taken in front of you, or have your labs lost? I've been here enough times to make a fair assessment of how poorly these locations run....

If a zero review was possible, that’s what I would leave. I came here for pregnancy related testing and it was immediately apparent that the technician had utterly no clue what she was doing. I had to correct all the information she improperly inputed. I have had blood work and IVs at least 50 times in the past few years. Never an issue. This technician had to put the needle in an out numerous times to draw blood. The bruise on my arm is so awful that my forearm is literally black, blue, and green.
