Time for another Dog Park Feature! This time we’re checking out Sternberg Park Dog Run! Located in Sternberg Park between the Broadway G stop and Lorimer J/M stops this is a decent sized dog run and has a nice natural feel. With plenty of natural shade from the large trees and lots of benches around the trees, it’s a great place to sit a while. Their water fountains weren’t in the best condition but the water was working so maybe bring a bowl, especially if you’ll be on the small dog side. Google reviews are a bit negative on this park which shows sometimes it’s not in the best condition but it didn’t seem too bad when we went besides the plastic bag at the entrance of the park. Overall, it’s a decent park and nice to have for the area. . . . #sternbergdogpark #sternbergdogrun #sternbergpark #brooklyn #bushwick #williamsburg #dogsofbrooklyn #dogfriendlynyc #petfriendlynyc #dogfriendlyclub #dogoftheday #dogreels #dogsofnyc #nycdogs #thingstodoinnyc #nycparks #dogparkfeature #dogpark #dogrun #benjisguidetonyc #nycdogpark #benjisguidetobrooklyn #benjisguide #terrier #schnorkie #schnauzer #dogtok #dogsoftiktok #dogsoftiktokviral

So hah...well, they can defenatly do better with this park. Is so many rats running around, plus there are homeless bums getting waisted there.. dog park could get a nice clean up, that park stinks a lot now. So hurry guys with clean up 😅. Its defenatly better then before but too many people doing bbq there when you can't do it. I mean, do it but then clean after your self...they dont, is always garbage left everywhere. Football field is nice but when they have big games, they drink, eat and leave garbage after them shelf...what a shame. About people who take care of the park, they do a good job now. Lot of work tho for them to clean up after everyone garbage. Thumbs up for you guys.

This park is historical for all the people who still live and used to live in Williamsburg Brooklyn N.Y.C, the south side of Bushwick and other towns in the area, and glad that after I moved out of the state last weekend I passed by and saw that the little league baseball field its been restored now thy play adults softball but the park is back alive full with people

A relatively lively place for friendly families in the summer, during the winter it’s deserted and a lot of gangs of teenagers hang out there. I have experience because I was one of the victims. Some students from I.S.318 there ice balls at me and my face was bleeding a little bit, the precinct were informed. One time my cousin got beaten up by a teen who claims he spit on his sister, which he didn’t. He was hostile towards us for no reason and when I tried to defend me cousin he opened up my backpack and threw my pencil case away. We ran away when a mother was yelling at our unknown bully to stop or she’ll call the police. The next day, we walked by and police cars were there. This is a park where I only feel safe if the place is filled with families with kids...

I live in the area. The shouting from groups playing on the field begin as early as 9am and can continue all day up until 10 or 11 at night especially on weekends. The shouting, screaming and horn blowing last all day Saturday and Sunday! And I mean all day! There are other days too. This is unacceptable!!!! There are many families and elderly living in the area and many have to listen to this all day long! It’s not fair! Park needs to close earlier so that residents can have some peace!!!! This has gone on for too long! It’s time to make our voices heard already! I will be making a noise complaint regarding this matter!...
