⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lofty Pigeon Books is Everything a Bookstore Should Be
I had such a great experience at Lofty Pigeon Books — it's easily one of my new favorite spots in Brooklyn. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting and peaceful. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down with a cup of coffee, flip through a book, and completely lose track of time (in the best way).
What really stood out to me was the amazing service. The staff were super friendly and approachable, and they genuinely seemed to care about helping me find books I’d love. They didn’t just point me to a shelf — they actually took the time to talk with me, make great recommendations, and share their deep knowledge of literature. It made the experience feel so personal.
Whether you're looking to browse, relax, or just enjoy a warm and welcoming space filled with good energy and even better books, I highly recommend stopping by. Lofty Pigeon Books is the real deal — a cozy, community-focused bookstore that gets everything right.
5/5 without a doubt. I’ll...

Read moreSuch a lovely bookstore to have in the neighborhood! The owners and employees are so delightful, and they curate an amazing selection. I come in at least 1x a week and there are always new and exciting books to discover on their tables that I don't always see in other indies, and definitely not in the big chains. They also have an adorable kids' section and great cards & little gifts so I always stop here first when I need to grab a card to mail to a loved one. Bonus that there is a coffee shop just a few doors down with the best coffee in the neighborhood, convenient for browsing with or returning to read the books you buy! The team hosts great events and partner with local authors and the community on lots of initiatives to help the greater area. We are so lucky to...
