If I could give their pharmacy zero stars I would. When it was time for me to refill a prescription, I noticed that on their app they give you the option to pay & have the Ned delivered. The first time I did this, I experienced no issues. The second time, the medication was more expensive. Even with insurance I had to pay almost $600 (I’m diabetic & it was for one of the parts of the Dexcom). I paid online, & again opted for delivery. After a few days, the pharmacy called me to tell me the other 2 parts they didn’t have, but could order & it would arrive soon. I told him that was fine, & that the one they did have that I purchased could be shipped. He was very uncomfortable agreeing to ship it saying it was really expensive. At one point he mentioned they didn’t have the boxes to ship. Clearly made no sense. Ultimately, I agreed that when the other 2 parts arrived, I would pick it up along with the one I already paid for, since he was hell bent on them not shipping it. Within that time, i learned about a company that offers same day medication delivery, & had them pull the 2 orders that Walgreens was still waiting on. I then got another call from the pharmacy, this time confirming that I was sending my 2 waiting orders to Capsule. I confirmed I was & would like the med that I paid $600 for with them shipped to me. Again, I was met with frustration & the pharmacy basically giving me excuses as to why they couldn’t ship it to me. The guy on the phone then offered to drop it off to me personally that night after his shift, after realizing I wasn’t far. I agreed. He told me he’d be at my house after 9. I waited & waited and not only did he never show, he never even called. The next day, I had no choice but to go there. I had already paid for this, & I obviously couldn’t trust them to do what the were supposed to do - which is ship it out. That’s the whole purpose of giving you the option to pay online. AnywhOo, I get there & low & behold, I get told I’d have to pay again because I didn’t have a barcode. I showed the guy the deduction from my bank account, along with the email from Walgreens confirming I paid. But yet, I was told I’d have to pay the $600 again, & the past payment would fall off. At this point, I had no choice bc this is something I depend on. It took almost 5 days for the $600 I paid previously to be credited back to my debit. This experience was the final straw for me. This pharmacy is a hot ghetto mess. The way I was mishandled is disgraceful & I refuse to patronize them ever again. I recommend switching your pharmacy to Capsule. They offer same day delivery I’ve had zero issues with them. They communicate effectively, and I can trust in them, unlike the pharmacy folks at this store. Read moreI placed a photo order on 12/20 for same day pick up. It told me that my order would be ready after 11:20 am. I called once time around 5 the phone just kept ringing no answer. I called back around 9:20pm in regards to my photo order online it said it was still in progress. A young man answered the phone he let me know that the photo machine was down and that they couldn’t fulfill my order because they don’t do that at that store. I jumped in my car to go to the store. I arrived around 9:30 pm I spoke to Sisma ( forgive me for spelling) he explained to me that the printer was down etc etc and they don’t have magnets. I asked why nobody called to inform me especially if I chose same day pickup. He didn’t know the machine was down etc etc. I was beyond frustrated nobody knew when it was going be fixed and he couldn’t send my order to another store. He conversed with the other manager that was there Ashley she said same thing and try again in the morning. I called the store in the early morning machine was still down. Called around 10 to check the status now the machine is working but they don’t know if they have magnets. They called back and they found magnets and I could come get my order. Then they called me back again asking the photo quantity of my prints.and said again everything ready come pick it up. I arrived to the store after work they couldn’t find my photos so now I am on edge. They then called Ashley back over and Ashley called Brandon. Brandon was able to find my photos and assisted me. My prints were missing the envelopes I ordered them with Brandon went got the envelopes for me and counted them to make sure I had enough. I went to this walgreen directly after getting 3 teeth extracted so I was bleeding in the mouth heavily and had to get medication before the anesthesia wore off. The whole pharmaceutical staff decided to take a 1 hr lunch break frm 1-2 pm, like who does that what about patients who come get medication because of severe illness. The gauze in my mouth began to soak w blood heavily. When they came back from lunch and opened up the pharmacist at the register decides that it’s okay for ppl on the line to pay for their items while on line getting medication. This is why there is cashier section for Regular items, so that people that are suffering in pain don’t have to wait like regular shoppers. There should be a kind of rule that says you can not pay for more than one non medical item at the pharmacy section. Now I need to get medicated before the anesthesia begins to wear off and the medication had already been sent to the Walgreens hours before I got to the pharmacy. After finally being called to the pick up window (cause a long line started due to their unison lunch break) I had to wait an additional 20 mins making it all together a 1 hr and 20 minute wait. All this despite me showing them I was in pain and was bleeding heavily at the mouth from a tooth extraction. I was almost in tears. Please if you can find another Walgreens do so.
