Western Beef Supermarket — Attraction in New York

I hate to say it and complain about a supermarket in a community that I live in but I must be honest this supermarket is substandard the produce section is so minoot it's not even funny the produce is constantly old it seems as if the supermarket gets food is on the verge of expiringwhen you compare this particular supermarket to places like Food Bazaar or fairway or stop & Shop or ShopRite it's definitely getting an f unfortunately it's the closest supermarket in the area to where I live I'd rather drive to Pelham Manor and go to fairway and spend the extra money and get fresh produce as far as the rest of the supermarket is concern is like any of the supermarket when it comes to having box and processed foods that's a dime a dozen but fresh fruit fresh vegetables that's where the money is at that's where the health is that and this supermarket it's definitely feeling in that department now to get into the staff everybody there seems to not care about their job as the food is rotting are turning moldy they're restocking food and walking past the moldy food and not taking it out and replacing it with fresh produce in fresh fruits I just don't understand why is it that in the low income communities this appears to be a standard practice it's a damn shame the owner of this market should do a much better job and bringing fresh produce and fresh fruits to the community that they provide for you better off going to one of the Asian spots spend your...

Just came from this Western Beef and it was not good at all. Upon waking in the door there was a horrible stench, i dismissed the smell initially but it only got worse as I moved toward the back of the store. It smelled of rotting meat and I've got to tell you that's not a smell you want to experience while shopping for food. I wanted to buy some meat to cook for dinner but i decided instead to focus on just packaged items. Chips, bread, etc... Walking around the store looking for items i noticed the floors of many of the aisles to be very stick with noticeably dry spills. I grabbed a loaf of bread to check the expiration date and as i picked it up a bug flew up into my face I'm not even sure what kind of bug it was. I can only say that it was not a fly as there were many flies flying around the store to compare it to. This was it, i had seen enough. Walking towards the exit saw many spills of what looked like blood on the floor by most of the cash registers. I'll give then the obligatory 1-star buy this place...

The cashier charged us $40 dollars for a half a pound Muenster cheese that was supposed to be $4 dollars. When we realized it by luck since we mostly don’t check receipts, went to the store to then be told to bring back what we ordered from the deli. Mind you it was freezing cold and I had to walk 10 mins to get there. So my sister had to go to bring the products because they say sometimes they scan products and a different prize comes up. LIKE WHAT! They gave us the hardest time thinking we were lying. Asking me more than 3 times what I ordered from the deli trying to trick me or something. Basically these people system does not work and every time they scan a product it comes up with a random price that is not what you are supposed to pay!! Basically stealing peoples money!! And not curtesy...
