IHOP — Restaurant in New York

We went out to Ihop on E 174th to take the kids to have the holiday grinch experience. What we experienced was a spider walking along the wall about to climb on my mother we asked for 2 grinch mint hot chocolates and got regular hot chocolate when we asked why wasn’t it green for the kids they said there is No more green Whip cream as the next Waiter came out with Granch mint hot chocolate for The next table when we asked why are they getting it with the green with cream and we’re only getting it regular The manager Nika said that they will change it after the kids already stipped out of it for a larger drink but we were still paying for it we should have been told that there was no green whip cream we would not have ordered that then all of a sudden the green whip cream appears so now they took the two regular already sipped on hot chocolate and made two green mint hot chocolate and when we said if we could have a third no charge for the inconvenience they still charged us for the hot chocolate then the manager Nica said well we gave you the pancakes for free and we told her you didn’t give us pancakes for free that is what the offer in Ihop everywhere kids eat free The manager Nica continue to go back-and-forth arguing were in a place of business the customer is always right and being a manager you should know that I am very disgusted with this place we didn’t get anything For the inconvenience with the bugs to the service we didn’t even have enough forks and spoons on the table for the party of seven that we had and ended up in a very awful argument going back-and-forth between the manager and And the customer I will never come to this place again I will tell everyone about this place how awful the service wasThank you IHOP for showing me and my My mother who came down from far my sisters and my three children and awful 1st time holiday grinch experience. 👉🏼...

Recently went to this location and had a terrible experience. My family and I walked in we were seated right away. The waitress walked passed us about 4-5 times and we overheard a conversation of the waitress stating to another couple who walked in that they are closing at 4pm. (There was no indication or sign saying they were closing early this very day) the waitress finally approached us and just asked are we ready. Never introduced herself or anything. When I asked if it was true they are closing at 4pm she stated "Yes we are" when I asked why she stated "We are just closing at 4pm" after seeing a sign outside stating children eat for free I asked the waitress how does that promotion work? Her response was "we close at 4pm so we aren't doing that" I was going to walk up and leave but for the sake of my children who were hungry we stayed. She took our orders moved along to the next table and what does she do? Introduce herself states that they are closing at 4pm due to them having to do a deep cleaning of machines. I would of understood if I was the type of customer who came in rude to her or your staff but I wasn't. Plates were popping hot food was cold. They didn't bring out the French fries that I ordered for my children until AFTER we all finished our cold meal. Waitress didn't ask if our table was okay nor if we wanted refills. I became fed up and just wanted to go. The bill was paid and although her service was TERRIBLE still left a tip. But all she did was rolled her eyes and not even a THANK YOU! Don't get me wrong I completely understand that life has been tough on Everyone so I try to have some compassion but I will NEVER return to...

I went here a week ago and I felt pretty upset when I left. The resturant always had great customer service I came here in the evening to grab a quick bite. The girl at the front was very nice and sit us at a booth quickly. While seat3d I looked at the menu 10 minutes past, my husband ask the waiter if he can take our order he told us to wait, we waited 10 min passed as the waiter keep attending to the other customers and ask them what they needed and gave them theie food. I ask the waiter can you please take our order he said with an attitude to please wait again. He returned and kept attending to everyone except me and my husband and my toddler which was hungry. As I notice he left us sitting there 30 mins ignore our request to have our order taken and I asked one more time are u going to take our order he walked passed us. I felt discrimanated against because I'm Hispanic and he was black and just attending to black ppl and kept ignoring us. Mind I have to race issue but notice that the while time and so did my husband. I got up and started to make my way to leave. The girl at the front said did u guys eat I told her no I never had my order taken which even left her in disbelief. I told her it okay I'm leave I don't want to keep wasting my time here I thank her for being nice. But thisbis the first time I experience something g like that maybe he was tired maybe je wanted to go home but that's not what u expect when u go foto a resturant frequently and treated like that.
