Wien Stadium is a functional place to watch Columbia football games. The stands are small, but then again, not too many people attend these games. The grounds crew does an excellent job maintaining the grass of the playing field, so playing conditions are good, and so is the viewing experience.
Columbia confusingly has a (paid for) name for both the whole athletics complex including football, baseball, soccer, track and other facilities, Baker Field; and the football stadium. Greed is bad
The stadium could really use a bigger scoreboard and better quality public address {PA) system. The current scoreboard is too small to easily see.
They have a small concession stand.
It is easy to get to the stadium via subway. The 215th Street subway station on the 1 line is 5 blocks or so away.
A warning -- if you buy tickets online from the Columbia Athletics department, they will "punish the customer" and use your email address...
