WWII Veterans Memorial Ice Skating Rink — Attraction in New York

Horrible . The workers were extremely extremely extremely rude . My friend and I had to wait for a waiver then when it was finally signed I was ready to go in but they don’t take cards . Afterwards I spent 2 hours trying to find a WORKING atm in the neighborhood. I tried for an ATM nine times but that’s besides the point . Next I waited for them to open . Online they said they were open so my friend and I went back after we finally got money. Once we got the money we walked back and waited . Mind you they said they open at 7pm . It’s currently 8:10 and they are not open . A worker passed by my friend & I so we asked “ hey is the rink gonna open” & a worker looked at us and drove away in his little clove lakes car . I came from FL to spend the holidays with my family, we decided to go ice skating... our kids ordered hot chocolate but these people here served the hot chocolate extremely hot and without lids... one our children spilled the chocolate on her legs and burned herself. Selling hot drinks without cover is very irresponsible, as per the manager they didnt have anymore lids. Our family time skating was ruined by the poor administration of this place. I am not even sure if they follow the hygiene code in this place, their kitchen didn't look clean. Again the administration of this place is very poor and not costumer...

This place was amazing when I first came here but, one thing problems me. When I rented the skates, they were so uncomfortable! I was able to skate around fine for a while but something bothered my feet. When I was done skating, I took of the skates and my socks. There was a little thing on the side of my feet and it hurt so badly! The skin on my feet literally peeled off because of the skates! I definitely suggest bringing...
