I wish I could give this review a zero because that’s what it deserves. I came on Friday to get a fill in and two nails repair, in the website it states that a fill in is 35$ and nail repair $5, that day i was charged 70$ which had me in shock but i paid it and my mistake was that I didn’t say nothing. When i got home i went on the website to confirm the prices and they definitely overcharged me. I call the salon and the nail tech (Lisbeth) talk to me to explain that there was an extra charge of $15 for changing the gel color which she never bother to tell me and they charged me $10 for the nail repair instead of 5$, I also talked to the owner and she was rude to me and told me that they never give prices to customers before service because "they get offended" that really doesn’t make sense, if u going to charge extra you should let the customer know not just assume they know, she then asked me what did i wanted, when i told her i wanted a refund because I really don’t feel happy with the service and how my nails turned out( they were uneven and thick) and i was really trying to be honest with her about how unhappy i really feel to which she replied by saying that i was being over dramatic and sensitive, she didn’t even offer me to come back to the salon to try to fix the nails, at that moment I just decided to end the call. That just made me extremely disappointed of this place that I’ve been going to for years and I’ve never had this problem with them before. Im never going to this place ever again. If you gonna go to this place ask for prices before service so they don’t rip you off.
Im gonna insert some pics of how uneven my nails are, theres only one straight nail and the rest are pointing up, plus I don’t know why she filed the back of my nail making it look choppy and with a bad...
Read moreI went in for a mani and pedi, but also ended up getting my hair done (just a blowout, nothing to fancy). Getting my hair done was a nice good experience on that part. As for the mani and pedi, I didn't like that experience much. When it came to my mani the nail tech had mainly my thumb nails at an angel in which she favored filing the right side more(i did ask her to fix it but she still did the same thing), when it came down to painting them towards the end she accidentally touched one of my nails and accused me of messing it up. I took a look at my hand. There was no polish on them, but they were and her nail(she had touched them). After she finished fixing my nail and putting them to dry i pretty much gave up because the polish wasnt even and i didn't feel like asking her to fix it because of a comment she made about me choosing regular nail polish over gel( which i know gel last longer). When I came down for my pedicure, it was going well until it came time to put the nail polish. She went to put the polish on(and boy, I tell you, did it burn). I couldn't tell too much of what actually happened until I put on normal shoes the next day. My big toe(right foot) was hurting so much to have shoes on and was slightly burning. When I got off work that afternoon was when I noticed that there was a small scab near my cuticle. I just hope she was more experienced and if she wasn't they could have told me. I also didn't like how they made me pay for the service before...
Read moreThe best Salon in Newark.❤️ The Nail Shop I was attending for many years, failed me when they made my nails suffer due to the service I received. They did my nails on a Tuesday and 2 fell off, 1 lift up and 2 broke by Thursday. So I had to remove the rest by force because I couldn’t walk around with my hands disheveled like that. My fingers were excruciatingly sore, they were broken all the way up to the nail bed all you could see was fleshed, I almost lost all my nails because of them. I did some research and learned that they had used diluted and expired products to do my nails and they did not prep my nails before doing them which resulted in them being severely damaged. Once my nails grew back to some decency, I was searching for a new nail tech and Le Cache was in the top 5 recommended with a lot of positive reviews so I decided to give them a try. As soon as I walked through the door I felt welcomed because everyone was so friendly, kind, helpful, loving towards each other even towards the costumers. Daisy one of the tech’s saw how damaged my nail beds were and she took her time and gently cared for my natural nails first before adding acrylic. Every since that day, my nails been stronger than they’ve ever been in a long while. Le Cache helped me get my confidence back by making me look beautiful and feminine again. I am forever grateful. So all I can do is continue supporting them because I don’t need to go anywhere...
