if I could leave no stars I will, but I have to give a star in order to write my review. I attended mountain of fire church yesterday. I am not a Nigerian so, I do not dress like how they do to attend they church, and I did not know there is a dress code to go into the house of the Lord. I sat in a chair and the lady told me someone is sitting there, so I sat in another chair and this other lady said to me someone is sitting there, then this other Nigerian woman said to me I have to get up, in which I did and walk out the church within less than 5 minutes after my arrival. The usher came outside trying to convince me to come back in, in which I did, but I had to sit at the door far away from congregation. At the end of the service this woman came over to me and take me into a room she asked me, "are you Nigerian, in which I said no, than she asked, what is you name, which I give to her, then she asked, what do you work doing, in which I told her," but I'm wondering where is she going with all these questions, what do this have to do with me coming to church, then she said to me, "my sister, the dress is very nice but not for this church." I'm still very confused because I was wearing a black dress with sleeves and black pantyhose, my back was fully covered my body wasn't exposed so I don't understand I'm still very confused. These other women came over to me talking which at this time i totally block them out because, I was thinking, I came into the house of the Lord and meet some very racist people that is insulting me, because I'm not from they culture and I don't dress like them. My experience in this church isn't going to stop me from seeking God, I will pray for the people of this church; I'm going to ask God to bless these people with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I'm going to also leave this verse with them; Joel 2:13, Rend your heart and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God, May...
Read moreThis place is a disaster. I visited new year's Eve might after speaking with the pastor over the phone. He was very courteous and welcome. When I arrived, there were people standing at the door. No one offered me a seat or greeted me though I was clearly pregnant. Two ushers were arguing and the standing crowd joined in the fuss. The seating was scattered and a disgrace and the singing was done by a makeshift choir who found it difficult to sound or look organized. One choir member walked away then returned to join in again. It is just a huge disappointment knowing the reputation that Dr...
