Firehouse Center — Attraction in Newburyport

I purchased tickets for a play and for the price thought it was going to be more professional. I felt like I was watching a dance recital rather than the Nutcracker. School plays are better than what I saw here and cost way less. They never even changed the lighting for different scenes. Plus it isn't well labeled. I couldn't tell where the actual theater was without asking. In the bathroom the automatic soap dispensers were empty but there was push dispensers. And the first sink I used barely worked. I had to put my hands under the faucet over and over bc it squirted water for onnly 1 second at a time until another sink opened up...

I am an usher at the theater so I have conflict of interest in writing a review. Conflict of Interest was the show I saw last night and it is excellent. The acting is great when you want people to be angry you get really angry people to make you feel sorry for the person getting the bad end. The storyline is great and has a very valuable message.

Last weekend I attended the Saturday Night performance of Willy Wonka and the entire experience was fabulous. There is plenty of parking in the public lots right nearby. The venue has lots of character and is very clean and well lit. All of the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The cast of children and adults were all very high quality. I will keep an eye on the schedule and see about returning again for sure. My one daughter told me that she wants to get up on stage like all of the other oompa loompas. A truly great...
