Savers — Attraction in Newington

Horribly overpriced for the fact that ALL their stock is FREE AND DONATED. Very greedy considering every item is 100% profit for them..They should highly consider lowering their prices...in the past few years the pricing has really gotten out of control and is way too unreasonable for me to enjoy shopping there. Not to mention there are no handicapped accommodations, I brought my mother there who can barely walk...once in the store we realized there were no buggys for her to ride on while shopping...then we learned that there was nowhere for her to sit while I shopped for her.. (since she couldn't ) Over all the Newington location is a huge let down filled with massive frustration. The people pricing the stuff need a serious retraining course on what a FAIR price for USED FREE DONATED & even sometimes STAINED items should cost. A pair of USED NIKE brand athletic shorts or a USED TANK should never cost $9.99. Especially seeing as how it was donated to them. Shopping there is not and...

Donated some old clothes today and was given a 20% off coupon to shop inside. I found a bunch of pieces of clothing that I wanted to try on and after walking around the store twice, I couldn't find the dressing room. I hadn't been there since before Covid, and I knew they used to have a fitting room so I figured maybe they moved it? I asked a cashier where the fitting room is and he said there weren't any but that I could exchange any items within 14 days. I ended up putting everything back and not getting anything. I'm not going to waste my time driving all the way home to only take a few minutes to try things on that may or may not fit and then have to drive back. Especially when the clothes are used and have been washed/dried and you can't always rely on the size to be right. I think it's absolutely ridiculous to not have a fitting room in this type of store so unfortunately will not be...

Poor service on Sunday 3/31/19, a young girl claiming to be the manager tried to manipulate into giving her the pin number for my card. She stated it has been luke that and they got new machines so I need to give it. I informed using my card there for 15 years with Savers and it has Never ben like that before.I asked for the manger and she insisted she is the manager.I then asked for the number to call to make the complaint..She did not kbow the number of the store and had to ask a co-worker.She gave me the number for her own store to call Monday and speak to the manager Nick. I asked for the main number but she stated she did not know.it.. Wow, it is amazing who they have to take care of the customers.
